We meant to visit the "Frohnauer Hammer Schau Hammer" on the other side of the road but they where closed for lunch so we figured we could do the same and the Restaurant looked very inviting in an old Wood Framed House that used to be the Foreman or Owners House of the Hammer Mill opposite.
We managed to get a seat outside (watch out for some eager Wasps). They serve traditional Ore Mountain Food and some other typical German Staples so there is something for every taste.
My dad had a Filet Steak and he felt it was the best he had in a long time - cooked to perfection. I had a East German Classic Soljanka which was just as I remember it (it's a Russian Meat Soup) and my Sister went for a Ore Mountain Dish with loads of meat and something like a hash brown - she loved it.
The Service was great and it's not overly expensive either so a good choice when out and about.

I needed a hotel with seven rooms for a group trip. Thomas was an excellent, friendly and humerous host. The rooms were spotless, and the food was excellent. I'll be back to stay again soon!

This is the less elevated of the Hotel Wilder Mann's two restaurants, but I preferred it to the Silberbaum. Some might find Its somewhat cave-like location a little claustrophobic but I liked it. The asparagus season was just getting underway and I had asparagus soup followed by fish (Buntbarsch) in a hollandaise sauce with potatoes and asparagus - all of it delicious.

This is a welcoming, unpretentious restaurant. I just had a main of calamares and it was of more than acceptable quality and excellent value.

Traditional restaurant with much wood in evidence and green tablecloths and linen. I had soup followed by an enormous Erzgebirge speciality dish consisting of hot potatoes in a salad surrounded by nine side dishes (omelette, herring in cream, spinach, various other vegetables). Delicious, though not for the faint-hearted! Characterful service.

We stopped in at Café Anna because it is near the Annakirche, and because we were looking for somewhere with WiFi, which we found is rare in that area.
We weren't disappointed. We sat in the airy but shady courtyard and enjoyed our coffee and tea. The service was pleasant but not overbearing.

The question that you ask yourself is "what should I eat?" because everything looks so delicious! We said that each of us should order different cakes so that we could try more. We took some time until the final decision but the lady was nice and helped us
To drink I recommend the milk hot chocolate. Cappuccino was nothing special. You have to try the bonbons and mini chocolates.
