Stumbled across this beautiful Restaurant whilst on a skiing holiday. The Food was gorgeous and the people were very friendly. A MUST visit after a day on the Planneralm slopes!!! Excellent place!! Gerard from Ireland

It's your typical fish restaurant, all wooden and very "rural" with stuffed animals staring at you all around. They basically offer trouts (forellen) and other river/lake fish done in a million ways (my favourite: almond panade!), and you can also buy fresh ones for take out. The best is the lake that lies in front of the restaurant, with a beuatiful view of the Mountains! Prices are ok for the region, around 10 euros per fish, side dish included. There is also a dog that lives there so make sure you cuddle him!

We dined in this wonderful traditional austrian restaurant on Saturday’s lunch and it was great choice. The village where it is located is lovely, the ambiance of restaurant is charming, the service is outstanding and the food is delicious. We will definitely come back soon!

The tip for a fun time with culinary delights from the kitchen and cellar. Our beautiful dining rooms (8 to 40 per.) Are ideal for various occasions or a romantic meal in good company. All-day dining Daily changing menus Covered Terrace with a unique flair Station Try Styrian hospitality STEIRER Schmaeh AND PLEASURE! We look forward to your visit Silvia and Roland piston
A restaurant which makes an hour's wait between trains an absolute pleasure. Doplovoro offers sustaining food and drink to an excellent standard and merges its Italian roots with its trackside Austrian setting. And what a railway platform, too, with the intimidating mountain Grimming looming down over the station. A real find for the train and bus traveller - car drivers miss many of our pleasures!

On our way from Vienna to Flachau, we stopped to eat here. First of all the menu was who knows in which language?! It was not english but a combination of spanish and italian. We ordered soup, mine was brocoli cream soup and it had strong taste of milk, my husband ordered minestrone and was ok. For the main course we had pasta with bolognese sauce and was eatable but too pricy for the level of food you receive. Oh, I forgot to mention that the waiter did not know english at all so we could not ask anything regarding the menu

It is a little ride to get there but it is really worth it! Not only the view from up there is awesome, also the food. I can really recommend the Schnitzel im Mandeln. Not something you see in other restaurants!
Service is very, very friendly, also a reason to keep coming back.
