My wife and I each got to fly on Olivier's paraglider. He was very professional, patient with our questions and instructive. He put us both at ease and in confidence. His flying was smooth yet sharp. We highly recommend his coastline tour. The view was breath-taking. Merci beaucoup!

La Corniche Basque of Urrugne is a unique natural site on the coast. It offers the possibility of having a walk along the path of the coast from Socoa in Ciboure above the ocean on the high cliffs of flysch. It is beautiful path in the open air with an astonishing view. To see on the Corniche: the bunker, the wild creek, the flora, the Domain of Abbadia in Hendaye... And at times of the year, the giant wave Belharra.
The Bask Corniche offers you the best views of the coast. A splendid place to walk, to take pictures, to discover the coast... The second part (between Hendaye and Abbadia) is the best because you walk in the nature (and not along the road). A regret this year because some parts of the way were closed for a long time because of works. Even for the summer time the new building and entrance were closed (and since the beginning of the year); strange for a main attraction in the Bask country.

WOWPARK is located in the botanical garden "ex Florenia" this is an amazing course of nets which enable to climb in the highest branches of the trees and reach some huts in the trees. Maybe you will discover some Elves, dwarfs or any character from the forest. There are some games on the ground. Ready to surf in the Laminak's sledges, to cross the ocean of nets, to jump on the Tartaro's tummy
We loved this place, our two children did not stop all afternoon! Such a unique experience for everyone, and caters for different ages and capabilities. The staff were really helpful and explained the concept to the kids at the entrance.... "Be sure to look for the fairies, dwarves and pixies when your in the tree top houses"... Our 6 and 4 year olds were entranced! A great experience for everyone.

Great stopover near Pyrenees and St Jean de Luz, run hands on by the present count, whose family have owned it for centuries and who gives guests a personal tour and history on arrival,. A real anglophile who observed that " Most British are half French anyway, think of the Norman invasion" and who went on to ask if we were Cameron or Milliband !! Know which he preferred...!!
Good room overlooking the park/garden, good breakfast and a pleasant two day stay. Will return.

Andoni welcomes you at Larrun Alde Horse Center in Urrugne, on the Basque Coast. Beginner or certified, you will ride all along the sides of the Rhune mountain and also have a look to the biggest beach of the area in Hendaye. Have a rest by tasting the gastronomical and local food. Your guide will teach you the history of Basque Country.
If you want to discover the hills and Mountains of the Larrun area in the bask country there is no better way. In summer you can climb the Larrun on mule back as did the Imperatrice Eugénie, wife of Napoleon the 3rd in the 19th century. Visit on horse back the "redoutes" that were supposed to stop Wellington in 1813. Have a nice ride and stop at a " venta" on the spanish side to have an unforgetable typical bask lunch. A splendid experience with very good horses an a very professional staff.

The chapel of Socorri overhangs the village of Urrugne. It is a mysterious and quiet place with a beautiful view on Mountains and Basque coast.
Old bask cemetery and the view on the ocean and the montains is superb. Old chapel is beautiful. Must see when on the bask coast.

A first church existed from the 10th century to Urrugne, the building was destroyed at the beginning of the 16th century. The church is completely rebuilt in 1550 in a Renaissance style. It also undergoes the influence of the cultural architecture of Gipuzkoa. The bell tower hall, of a height of 45 m, is decorated on its south facade, of a sundial with the currency " Vulnerant omnes, ultima necat "- " Every hour hurts the last one kill ". The inside is worth seeing for its greatness and its choir decorated with tapestries of the monks of Belloc. It is registered on the inventory of Historic monuments since 1925. For more information you visit it with the tourist office in July and August.
