Beautiful park with all sorts of animals. Lions, elephants, cheetahs, etc. Very family friendly. Great weekend get-away for families who'll love to get away from central Tokyo to a more natural environment. Kids will love it! Even great for a romantic get away!

This is a large venue located in an area where there are a lot of well known Universities
And department stores. The venue has 80 steps going up to the second floor where the entrance to the concert hall is located. There is also an elevator inside on the ground, or street level, floor.
The building has five floors and there is a small museum on the ground floor, a cafe on the fourth floor for a light lunch or snack and a restaurant on the floor above. The cafe opens out onto a lovely park with a man-made lake where families stroll and little ones chase ducks or feed them. There is a nice view of the wide open plaza and an easy walk to several large department stores as well as restaurants.
Inside the concert hall is a wide open space with nothing to block the view from any seat. A word of caution for tall people with long legs: get an end of aisle seat for some room to stretch your legs. Seats are also a bit smaller and closer together.

Large hilly park, initially unremarkable but once inside, it opens up with many footpaths and woodland trails. Naturally quiet, well away from busy roads; much birdsong, many butterflies. Peaceful walks, many maples, will look good in autumn leaf-peeping season. Former hunting retreat for Emperor Meiji. Some paved areas, but some woodland paths would not suit baby strollers/wheelchairs.
