We thought this was an interesting temple complex, different than the typical Vietnamese temples. There was a Thai-style reclining Buddha, Tibetan prayer flags, a Burmese-style Buddha, Sri Lankan Buddha, the Chinese "Happy Buddha," and several temples on the grounds with Vietnamese-style Buddhas and deities. The area is maintained very well. Most of the temples have very ornate interiors. There is an older temple to the right (facing uphill) of the main complex - it is over 500 years old.
It's popular with Vietnamese tourists - we didn't see any other foreigners when we were there, but don't let that deter you. It's worth the trip.
The Tay Thien Temple is not at this spot - it's quite a drive away and not in Tam Dao.

I'm really attracted by Nui Coc Lake legend, the romance love story so we decided to travel there. It's beautiful landscape. We love the water music show very much. It lengthened only 30 minute but left us memorable trip. We prepared the lunch before our trip because we heard about the expensive service here.

If your looking for a weekend getaway that is not popular for tourists in the dead of winter, Tam Dao is a beauty. Mountain passes with beautfiul Forests. Amazing street foods, great options for accomodation and loads of locals with stories for days.
I advise you take a whole lot of warm clothes and if your doing the journey by bike like we did from Hanoi make sure you have gloves, 2 pairs of socks and a baraclava or beanie.
The air on top of the Mountains is magical and the views are breath taking. Go forth and see for yourselves and my advice would be dont book any accomodation find it when you there.

This golf course is about 40-45 drive from the international airport and hence is good choice for golfers who have evening flight like us.
The course is quite well maintained, and buggies are not allowed to drive on the fairway.
The course is quite beautiful (but nothing compared to Phoenix Golf course, which is like Halong Bay on the land), and the greens are quite good.
Caddies are generally quite good in Reading the lines.
