Very nice little harbor, although local fishing is actually suffering from fishing quotas etc. There is at least one fishing boat regularly selling fish right off the deck (www.havfriskfisk.dk), the homepage is updated with the landing times/harbors and the types that will be for sale. Fish smokery within walking distance, north of the harbor. Pleasant stroll south of the harbor, gives you a beautiful Panorama of the village itself.

You can access Rokkestenen/the rocking stone from several dirctions, i can recommend the one from Klinteby.
Take the red route, it's a 3 km that will take you past the Rokkesten and a picture perfect "mountain" lake (Grydesø).
And it IS super easy to get the stone to rock! Small pulses with pretty high frequency do the trick. My 13 year old dauther managed.
Note: the walking routes are NOT well marked. When in doubt, take the "main" path, ie the biggest

For DKK 60 for a loaf of bread you either should get a very good product or a very good customer service, neither is the case in this bakery. All the breads taste the same or were hard as a stone, the shop is not inviting and the lady selling the bread was grumpy. The chocclate brownies are fantastic but that's it, the rest is marketing blabla. Coming to Bornholm for many years since I am a child I am always willing to support local business, but this one is obviously just trying to sell something which does not deliver what it is promising. I can understand that the locals here in Svaneke are sceptic about this, because it is, sorry to say, just a rip off.

If Pernille has time to talk then it adds extra fascination to talking to a real artist with her team. You can get up and close to the process and make time to watch her from start to finish. My kids (12 and 6) were spellbound by the magic which unfolded before their eyes.

Brændesgardshaven Perhaps the world's oldest of its kind. Brændesgardshaven opened the doors for the first time in 1933. The values from back then, are the foundation of the amusement park today. These are the values that make Brændesgardshaven the traditionally nostalgic pearl of Bornholm that it is today. Brændesgardshaven is a combination of a place for the family, an Old School amusement park where children and childhood souls can break a sweat and get a smile on their lips. Brændesgardshaven is a place, where you can catch your breath. A place where guests can relax in terms of peace and quiet and enjoy a wealth of flowers and trees. You can try Denmark's oldest hand- driven carousel, our huge fun and climb land, one of the bouncy pads or the bouncy castle, mini golf or spend the day in our 6,000 Square meters large water park. You can also enjoy one of the rowing boats on the Lake, or explore the zoo. There are daily magic shows in the high season on the open air scene and toys throughout the amusement park. You can also choose to spend your day in a peaceful spot where you relax and leave the rest of the world on standby.
Etymology.
Brändesgârdshaven [BRÄNösgôrshavön] with the two genitive-case ”s”: Brände means to burn, gârd means a farm, haven means the garden. Well, Brändesgârd, the farm that once burned down and had a lovely garden, was in need of modern electrical power in 1910. So, the propietor Mr. Ipsen built a concrete dam across the Vase stream that transversed his extensive and undulating garden, and built a power plant to match. The resulting lake initiated the creation of a new and even lovelier garden, that all Bornholmians have enjoyed ever since 1933, when Brändesgârds garden opened as a public park.
Today, with new and reverential owners, the name of Joboland is abandoned, and Brändesgârdshaven is again only called it's original name.
Multiple Choices.
Relaxing cosiness in the beautiful garden. Agile activity in the climbing castle. Enjoying pet animals – and more exotic ones. Taking a tranquile tour on the lake in a rowing boat. Playing with one of the many muscle-driven toys. Splashing in the aqua park for hours on end. Having lunch – and a beer.
Take your Pick.
Setting out in 1933 as a beautiful garden with coffee-and-cake for the parents and muscle-driven activities for the youngsters, Brändesgârdshaven has evolved into an extensive activity-park for all ages and all levels of mobility. But luckily you can still find tranquile spots and beautiful flower-beds.
At our age, my wife and I chose the coffee-and-cake option. However, a tour in one of the more than 20 rowing boats comprises the very essence of a trip to Brändesgârdshaven.

Where else can you find a fully functional windmill from 1877? I was blown away by the experience. The windmill stopped producing flour as the upkeep of the process was too expensive BUT the windmill still works and produces electricity for the nearby house.
You can go inside (20DK) and see the machinery with your own eyes. Second and third floor also accessible. There is also a souvenir shop with a really cosy gallery/cafe upstairs. I really, really recommend visiting this place.
