Podkarpackie Voivodeship or Podkarpackie Province (in Polish: województwo podkarpackie [vɔjɛˈvut͡stfɔ pɔtkarˈpatskʲɛ]), also known as Subcarpathian Voivodeship or Subcarpathia Province, is a voivodeship, or province, in extreme-southeastern Poland. Its administrative capital and largest city is Rzeszów. (Historically Lwów was the administrative center of this part of Poland, but after 1945, when Lwów became part of the Soviet Union, that city's role was relinquished to Rzeszów).

Poland's largest national park, measuring 27,064 hectares, includes the dramatic Bieszczady Mountains, Forests, open meadows and a variety of wildlife.
For nature and hiking lovers it would be the perfect destination. For those who are not used to harsh nature conditions it could be a bit unconfortable. Be prepared for problems with mobile conncetions, with great amount of mud especially in Spring. Be preared also that there are roughly no facilities in the Park but there is a pay point at the beginning of every most popular trail. However, despite all those difficulties the nature and views are rewarding.

Galeria znajduje się w głównej siedzibie Muzeum Historycznego w Sanoku - w królewskim zamku w centrum miasta. Jest to największa na świecie wystawa prac tego artysty (ok. 600 sztuk).
When i saw the castle for the first time I was surprised! The castle was renewed we've got beautiful weather so we could see the Mountains. The Gallery is absolutely awesome and great! I have never seen so many exhibits! The icons, paintings and of course Beksinski gallery. the greatest one and unique in the world. If you are somewhere around YES keep going to Sanok and visit this astonishing place.

Magnificent example of an early baroque aristocratic residence was refurbished in the late 18th century to become a lavish artistic salon, which played host to such famous guests as Louis XIII of France and Emperor Franz Jozef of Austria.
We purchased the full audio tour package and saw the castle, stables and greenhouses. Audio WiFi was a bit difficult to stay in sync, but very helpful since I don't speak a word of Polish. A lot of history spanning one family over five centuries. Big collection of documents going back to the 1600's. Some rooms are original, others are restored. Huge collection of horse carriages at stables. Allow 2 hour. Better for adults then children. Greenhouse had large exotic orchard collection. Bring a camera.

Most of the old buildings have now been restored and locals are proud of their town again. At the rynek there are no 'modern' fast food shops or bars, but trees and a traditional bakery (highly recommended) a relief after so many noisy central squares in other Polish cities. An efficient tourist office is located at the rynek as well. Walking up to the castle one can hear singing in the nearby churches. Przemysl is profoundly catholic. Wonderful outpost of the former Austro-Hungarian empire.

A cobbled pedestrianised town square in the heart of the town. It is surrounded by kebab/pizza shops, bars, restaurants and pubs, most notably the Lord Jack where the Hostel Rzeszow is situated. At its centre is the old well and the Kosciusko monument. It's a great place to start from if you want to explore the rest of the town but unless you're into parks, churches or food then there's not much here. Would be better in summer when there is more activity.

We live in Rzeszow so it took about an hour and a half to drive there, but clearly worth the trip.
The season begins May 1, so there weren't too many visitors; no crowds. The buildings were locked.
This place is a bit like the one in Kolbuczowa-but more expansive and worth the extra drive time. Do both, if you can.

The multimedia Fountain is a very fitting place to sit down after spending a long day walking and photographing the city.
On a hot day you will see children and some adults with children hearts running and jumping around in the water. That with the music and the dancing of the water can provide some tranquility you might really need after a long day.

Lake Solinai is an artificial lake in the Bieszczady Mountains region, and is Poland's largest artificial lake. It is the best known tourist attraction of the region, with waterside villages. There are many stalls and great selection of good food and clothing. We bought some hot chips from 1 potato cut in a spiral yum It was so crispy and tasty can see it doing very well at fares or even restaurants.

We took our elderly Aunt out for an afternoon as she is a keen gardner. The variety of flora and fauna was a sight to see. Took a good two hours to wander around slowly. Some of teh paths are not that good for an elderly person

Superbly looking building on the side of Market Square in Rzeszów - always full with locals and tourists. Some say it's from th century, but in current shape and form only from the end of 19th century. Stil being used as a towns council seat, so tourists can admire it only from the outside.
