This small, relaxed town’s artsy side runs deep. Chagall lived here, and great art museums such as the Maeght and Saint-Paul’s Museum are in town or just outside it. Its Chapelle des Pénitents Blancs was one of the last commissions undertaken by the Belgian artist Folon. Walk along the ancient city walls for great views—and bring your own sketchbook. Maybe you’ll be inspired too.

Wonderful hilltop fortified town, stuffed with art galleries. The place is infused with some of the great names of modern art (Marc Chagall is buried in the cemetery on the southern end of the town), but there is lots of interesting art by artists you may not have heard of, and the town has a great ambience. We stayed as a family in an airbnb in town, and it is nice in the evenings when the tourists have largely departed. However if I did it again I would perhaps stay nearby and do a day trip.

Lovely pictures and an amazing mosaic in this small chapel. On entering you have a great impression of light. The same ticket gets you entry to the museum which holds a series of historical tableaux.

Some excellent pieces here, with a great sense of humour in evidence. The setting is exceptional and while the surrounding area is largely obscured by pines (understandable to give a sense of seclusion), you still get a sense of being part of the landscape due to the trees being integral to the outside areas and the use of local materials throughout the design of the building. Miro is represented strongly it is true but so much of his sculpture makes sense in these surroundings. Some great fun works indoors too. Our 12 and 9 year old boys had as much fun as us.

La Petite Cave de Saint Paul, 14th century wine cellar, welcomes you to the medieval village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence to present you its selection of wines from Provence and its Vinotheque, harboring the most important French Wines & Nectars: Bordeaux Grands Crus, Burgundy Finest, Champagne and the Rhone Valley's best bottles, as well as a wide range of Cognac, Armagnac, Calvados, Eaux-de-Vie, Liqueurs.
Not sure if we read these reviews correctly - but when we stopped by around midday we were told they don't offer wine tastings anymore (and that we should rather visit the vineyards). Also, if he had to open a bottle - he wouldn't do so for anything less than a €100. Well thanks for nothing sir haha.

I had a very warm and cozy feeling walking through the narrow, cobblestone streets through this village. It is surrounded by boulangeries, pastries and Croissant shops. The smell of the freshly baked baguettes wakes every sense in my body. I witnessed locals getting in line to get their favorite fresh breads to take home to their loved ones. There are many little shops and restaurants all over the town. A farmers market opens up early everyday selling organically grown produce. I loved my daily walk in St Paule( Vence, France ) and recommend anyone to stop by here.

A walk throughout the past with King Francois I, Queen Jeanne, and other historical figures in costumes of their day. The clothing is what makes this museum. To experience he weight of the fabrics and the restrictive designs from our 21 St Century approach is amazing. As museum goers pass in shorts, T shirts and tennis shoes, you wonder how could I live wearing that! Displayed are books, guns, swords, cannon, hats and views of how the city would have looked at the time.

We take great pride in imagining, designing and crafting knives that meet our own exacting standards. Knives steeped in history and tradition. Our greatest asset? Our range of regional collections, drawing inspiration from the traditions and cultural heritage of our terroirs: Breizh Kontell (Britanny), Elsass (Alsace), L'Occitan (Languedoc), Correze (Correze) ...

From the imagination of a father and his daughter, Choisy Collection is the perfect balance between an artwork and ready-to-wear. Go for versatile dresses of the collection: fitted dresses or silk, sleeveless or long pieces. Take out all the stops, but it is work of art.
This shop sells dresses, scarves, shirts and other items made from fabrics that are made from the paintings of the owner's father who is an artist with a gallery in St. Paul. The prints are magnificent and the clothing is reasonable given the expensive process of artwork to fabric. The dresses run a little small, so don't be intimidated if you have to go up a size. This is definitely worth a stop for a unique piece of clothing or a small gift.

Rockclimbing & canyoning

Atelier OM is a hidden jewel in the beautiful village of Saint Paul De Vence. As you pass by it on the eastern remparts you hear beautiful music and singing. As you enter you are enraptured with beautiful tribal art from India. Meeting Dr Sunny Sandhu and taking a yoga class with him has been an amazing experience. Saint Paul de vence has been an ancient centre of spiritual energy and learning . Atelier Om started in 2016 has brought a new vibe to the village. Must visit .
