Single track starts at the eastern side and descends to larger track. Continue east on main, larger track about 300m, then look for Single Track down, off to left which passes small building in first 20m. This eventually comes out on the main road, you can then ride back up towards the church, but before you hit the really steep bit, there is a large citerne on a parking space on a left-hand 180deg bend in the road. There are then two options to head back down from here. The right one is more flowy and less rocky, the left one is steeper and rockier

Ile des Embiez is located in south of France, in the Var Department (83), between Marseille and Toulon, in front of Six-Fours-les-Plages. The "natural island" is accessible all the year from the Brusc Marina in Six-Fours. Various accommodation facilities, restaurants, leisure, marina, seminars and events... on site.
You reach Ile des Embiez after a 12 minute trip from Brusc by ferry. Ile des Embiez is one of the two Islands by Paul Ricard, the founder of the famous Ricard drink. When you arrive at the island the first thing you see is the harbour with hundreds of sailing boats and motoryachts. There is a shop where you can buy groceries, boutiques and many restaurants as well as hotels and even a wine bar. Ile des Embiez has it's own wine and you can visit the wine cave. You can rent a bike or take the tourist train to take a trip around the island. The beauty of the island is too overwhelming to even describe it. One has to see it to understand it. If they ever ask me to come back I hope I would never have to leave it. It's stunning. !!!!

Near Sanary sur Mer with adequate parking. A short walk to the park, with interesting plants and stunning views. 30 minutes was not long enough!

Easy to get to from Six Fours centre - in fact you could walk there in 20 - 25 mins along the seafront and save yourself the parking charges ( though its not that expensive). I'd say allow a couple of hours for a gentle stroll round, a few photo stops and a few minutes just sitting and taking in the views. Good place for a picnic. The cliffs and seas around the island are quite dramatic - but the island itself does'nt have a lot to offer - no-one lives there. there is a cafe at the entrance. Someone on here asked about being able to walk to Iles des Embiez - and yes it can be done. We saw 2 poeple in wet suits walk across and they never got more than waist deep - but I guess you need to know where to do it !!
Worth a wander round here - we enjoyed it

That's a pebble beach for one. A small one at that so no beach plays. Not far of there's better ones (sanary for instance). However, it still have its charm, it's not over crowded, the water is clear.
