This island is the one that is linked to Sao Vicente by the Ponte Pensil. There are a bunch of bars and restaurants on the island, so it's a good spot for nightlife. Probably the highlight is the large white lookout that was designed by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer. It gives nice views of Sao Vicente and Santos below.

YOu will probably see the Ponte Pensil suspension bridge from the beach at Sao Vicente. It's a very pretty white bridge, good for taking pictures. However, there's not really much to "do' regarding this bridge. You can look at it, and take a picture, but that's about it. There's usually a stream of traffic waiting in one of either directions since the bridge is old, and the traffic only goes one way across (at least that is how it seemed to me). Nice to see, but not much to do there.

Occupying an area of 850 thousand square meters, Voturua (formerly Municipal Garden of Sao Vicente) Ecological Park has several attractions in a cozy environment, within a last reserves of the Atlantic Forest in urban areas of our country, especially here in this region. It is one of the most visited tourist sites, possessing among its attractions a zoo with 150 animals of 20 different species, including birds, reptiles and mammals, as well as a series of activities that serve all age groups. Come and bring your family for unforgettable moments of leisure and contact with nature!
It is a very small zoo with a few attractions. The highlights could be said to be the Lions and the Hippo....the Tucan is also a very nice specimen.Thank you for your rating. We really are a small zoo, we hope you enjoyed the tour

The beach is Sao Vicente (SV) is a great place to visit. There is a great bike path that lets you ride the entire beach front of both SV and Santos. There are many restaurants in front of the beach. Life is very laid back here without the hustle and bustle of Rio. It is also a much safer place than Rio.
The weather from December to February is both very hot and humid. March and April are very rainy. I think that the best time to visit SV is from July through. Sometimes July and August can be a little Chile, but in most cases is still nice.
There are not of a lot of sites with things to do. As I said, life is pretty laid back here. There are some interesting museums, but for the most part SV is the place to walk along the beach, sit in the sun, and read a book.

A visita custou R$ 15, preço único, e valeu a pena.

A beach ...just a not so nice beach!not well kept and not well frequented neither! The low middle class folks that own flats come around for holly days! Otherwise is retirees and shady people....

A nice view of the bay, that is all you get out of it. The average score is given for the nice view not by the structure nor the total lack of tourism oriented facility.
