Loved the venue- loved the show. Very friendly atmosphere and enjoyed the glass of wine before the show and chatting with other guests. Remarkable endurance shown by these professional dancers. Such precision and talent. And a joy to watch.

The Cathedral of the Assumption of Mary, St Polten.
Located in the centre of St Polten, with pay parking available in the adjacent Cathedral square. There has been a church here since 790, but the original Cathedral dates back to the 1200's, though much of it dates from the 1600's following a fire. I looks large, but essentially quite plain on the outside, but when you pass through the large metal covered doors the full majesty of the Cathedral reveals itself. It bursts with Baroque grandeur. Lined with detailed side chapels, the nave leads to a wonderful Baroque altar. When we visited, the Cathedral was full of school children having a "back to school" service, so we were limited how much we could see. This is an impressive church.

Museum Niederösterreich - the Experience Museum for the whole Family The popular excursion destination is a small universe for the province of Lower Austria. Under one roof it unites the fields of history & nature. The show garden presents various locations with the respective typical tree growth, the sculptures protruding from the ground in between linking nature with art.
If you visit St. Pölten it´s a good idea to have a look at the Landesmuseum. One part is about the natur of the country, including living animals and second part the art museum. There are changing Exhibitions as well. Good entertainment on a rainy day and very nice for children as well A good and modern museum

Sankt Polten is a nice place to go when you are visiting the Wachau valley. The Rathaus is a quite interesting building in the central square at the old town.

The Gardens of the Kamptal have been especially blessed by nature and 19 unique oases of green can be visited in one of the most beautiful Valleys in Lower Austria.
I was there for a short stop to relax. It was clean and nice. In the noon it was a little bit crowded but OK. Nice sculptures and good atmosphere

There are nice and interesting places in St. Pölten...the "Klangturm " does not belong to them...the only interesting thing is the view over the town .
