This is an amazing little gem hidden deep inside the forest. Make sure you ask around because it can be tricky to find it. Bring your swim suit!

This spelunker's playground consists of the Camuy River and more than 200 caves, some large enough to make skyscrapers disappear.
This cave is amazing. But you will have to plan little bit before going there. You will have to go as early as possible because once they reach a certain number of people in a day they stop allowing people. Please call before going as it decent drive from San Juan. The tour guide was bilingual. The only bad part is that the people who work there are unorganized. But it's really worth a drive from San Juan

We explored this museum on December 27th. Downtown San Sebastián is small per se and we were staying a couple of blocks away. The house is well preserved and has knowledgeable guides. It serves as a reminder of a bygone era going back a hundred years. Much original furniture still around and in great condition. Overall, a good history lesson of San Sebastián if you are in that area. Check it out!

We crossed thru this town after visiting the Camuy Caverns. We decided to check out the towns main plaza and on the way saw the museum. The attendant was helpful, informative and knowledgeable. This is a very small museum, well kept and with a full variety of items. Eclectic and with wide ranging subject of materials on exhibition. From patriotic items related to independence from Spain, to an array of native people artifacts, fire arms, paper money from around the world, old artifacts and art pieces. Since we have nothing in our mind, this was an unexpected surprise and a welcome sight.

I like expolring different places and this one I really liked. I went on a Saturday, got there at 8:30 in the morning and there were troops of boy scouts arriving but that really wasn't a problem. They have different paths that you can take but I only did two which I'm going to review next.
Path to the cave (Cueva de los Vientos): it took us appox 2hrs there and back. This was making stops for pics and exploring the cave. It also was very muddy cause it had rained the day before. So my advice will be to wear good shoes and take a raincoat just in case. The cave is breathtaking, you need to be careful with the stairs to acces the cave and you will need a good flaslight if you want to explore; it is very dark inside. They are lots of bats in the cave but surprisely I didn't see no guano.
Path to the observation tower: it took us 10min to get there once we reached the sign. The path is uphill and a bit challenging. Once you reach the tower you get a good view of all the forest and the breeze is very nice.
I did not go to the information center because I did my research online and also downloaded a map but they are signs everywhere so it's very easy to explore.
Tip: Take lots of water and also some snacks cause there is no where to get anything once you get to the forest.
When you reach the road that takes you to the forest keep in mind that is very narrow and has a lot of curves and people from the area drive like they own the streets.
All in all I would definetly visit again.

You're visiting the incredible island of Puerto Rico and don't know what to do beside Old San Juan and The Yunque? Come an enjoy an eco-adventure that anyone in good condition can participate. Awesome experience from start to finish. Host was very funny with the jokes. Plus very knowledgeable about areas of Puerto Rico. He took us to caves, Waterfalls, kayaking and hiking. The whole time he was very intentive with watching our large crowd and making sure we all stayed together safely and out of harm's way. Next trip to PR I will definitely be using his company again. A+++ Great Job
