We visited the salt mine one week ago: a family with two kids. The saline is very small in comparison with other salt mine visited, i.e. Slanic Prahova Salt mine which is at least double in length and capacity. The salt mine has around 3 large rooms which are fool of a lot of things which should not be there. Due to this fact it is very crowded and commercial oriented, i.e. only oriented to make money. The price is excessive for what is offered: 30 lei for adult and 20 lei for a child. We paid 100 lei for about one hour visit so the price is excessive and I do not recommend the visit unless you have some respiratory disease and in this case it is good for your health.
Another point to consider: the visit start with a buss trip for about 1 km inside the mine, after which you need to descend hundreds of stairs to enter the mine. Lowering the steps for about 10-15 minutes is difficult for old people or people with knee problems. People with disabilities can not enter the mine since there is no specific access for such persons (i.e. other similar Salt mines has elevators which ease the access).

120 under the ground we are waiting for you in a magic world of light and darkness in the first European adventure park in a saltmine with parcours on wood "trees" and on salt-rock (via ferrata), an adventure full of fun and adrenalin for all your family...
I went to the salt mine in July 2014 and I was very impressed by Adventure Club, the only park of its kind in Europe + America, built entirely underground! Safety is at its peak, there are 2 types of connections so it is impossible to fall. Bravo, what we have and we are proud!

Good, but not enough. This has tourism potential. You needs to improve this hiking track. And definitely should arrange a bike course along to it. I gave you a very good rate to boost your review, but I expect a good reaction from local authorities.

Don't go unless you needs a fresh air and enjoy the forest. Otherwise nothing to see, the castle and it's story is not properly documented, the markings and helping tables are only in hungarian language (in Romania), none romanian and english. And at the end of the route there is only a hungarian flag.
But if you want it to go, you have to take from Praid the Gheorgheni road (national 13B). At the 5th km, there is a sign to the Rapsone and you have to take left on the stoned road for another 5 km until you find another sign. You can park your car on the edge of the road and take it on the pace. From here you should see on your right a stone peek. You have to hike it on the forest (blue cross marking) for another 2km, around some 500m slope level until you reach your destination. I hope you enjoy it, we don't.

Using the experiences lived with the periodic butterfly house from Odorheiu Secuiesc, we opened the first permanent butterfly house in Romania, at Praid, Harghita County, on the spring of 2012. The building, created for this very purpose, is divided into two parts and is house to a reception area that communicates with a gift shop and to a so called "flying space" with a tropical microclimate that
Such a great place to spend your time. Wasn't expecting so many butteflies and you can even hope for them to stand on your hands. Congratulationa to all the people that made this place come life!
