It's undoubtedly a dream place. At a very low rate, you can stay here within 14 hours using all the services: swimming pools, saunas, whirlpools ...
The entrance ticket can also include lunch, but you spend a little more to eat à la carte and perhaps it is worth, given the wide choice of dishes available.
There is an entire wing reserved for nudists (the superior), with different saunas and Turkish baths. On Friday, from 22 until closing, the whole structure becomes reserved for nudism.
It is the ideal place to spend an entire day of absolute relaxation!

The fort of Veliki Tabor is one of the most important cultural and historical monuments of secular architecture in continental Croatia, with a unique monumental and authentic fortification structure. Situated at the top of Mount Hum Kosnicki, at 333 meters above sea level, it has dominated the Zagorje area for over half a millennium, during which time the architecture has blended in with nature. The impressive view from Veliki Tabor stretches over the entire Hrvatsko Zagorje area and part of Slovenia. This zero-category monument is one of the most recognizable identities of not only Hrvatsko Zagorje but of Croatia as a whole.
Veliki Tabor castle is situated on a hill near little town of Desinić just 55 minutes of pleasant drive from Zagreb. It is thoroughly renovated and is great place to visit with children since it looks like a castle from the tale about Robin Hood or also reminds on Shakespearian Globe theatre. I recommend not to drive all the way up to the hill where Veliki Tabor is situated but to walk. Therefore the view will be more spectacular. In the museum you could find interesting exhibits and find out story about Veronika, a girl who fell in love in the young man whose father owned the castle as well as to find out that some Irishman owned it once. If you visit it on Eastern Monday you will have the opportunity to see traditional shooting groups.

My wife and I were here on a tour with friends from US. This is an interesting village, as it was 100-200 years ago, and maintained for tourists.
Of course, one of the main attractions is Marshall Tito's birth house.
It would have been good if there were English explainations rather than all Croatian.
Very interesting to see life as it was in the 'old days'. Bear in mind, many of the villagers lived and worked in the same house; their goods would be sold right in the house to other villagers.
There could have been more demonstrations. One funny incident: Blacksmith was demo'ing and his cell phone went off!

If you do not like crowds, stay away during the special price weekend evenings, wellness is very nice and clean but the crowd destroyed the relaxing we expected.
The organisation at the entrance was not the best, we did not get towels and sheets to the saunas until we went back to ask for it. Everything very clean though.

The Tourist Trail allows you to see the production of premium crystal glass which has been mesmerizing users from around the world for years. All production stages are carried out in line with a firmly set workflow (raw materials, glass-blowing, processing and packaging), and the tour is set up accordingly. The tour can be held in different languages: English, German and Croatian.
When you are in rogaska, definitely worth a visit. The tour was in ourcase in slovenian and english and gives a good insight in the making of crystal articles. At the sight is also an outlet. Rickets are €8 per person and gives 10% discount at the shop.

Went there with family. Kids really enjoyed hanging with deer, they literally eat from your hand. There is also a small park for children right next to a restaurant Terrace.
For lunch we had a deer stake and deer goulash. Steak was overly cooked, although i asked not to be, and the goulash was to sweet for my taste, probably from too much jam.
But overall very beautiful place. We will probably return another time and try some different dishes.

We visited the park quite frequently when we weren younger (with family). If you visit it on weekdays, you wil have a great experience because the queues will be short (the rides are pretty good). It is quite expensive though.

Pralines, big and small chocolate, chocolate in form of tools and other sweet product can be tasted five minutes from the Olimje castle. Shop is small but it is worth waiting in a line. You can choose dark or white – whatever you like or like to buy as a gift for your relatives or friends. Fine.

Quaint, cute, wonderfully put together. Just outside Podcetrtek village, great rfun! We loved it! The witches hut consists of a rute with several atractions. And they are fun. Be sure to have good shoes if the weather is damp.
