The tiny Moroccan town of Ouarzazate is a caramel-colored oasis set against a clear blue African sky. Be inspired by Ait Benhaddou, a beautifully preserved Kasbah that's a UNESCO World Heritage site, or walk in the starry path of celebrities by taking a tour of one of Ouarzazate's two movie studios. Tour the surrounding dunes on camel-back, or simply bask in the quiet bustle of the bargaining sessions at local markets.

We stopped in for lunch and had the best Moroccan meal of our 2 week trip. After so much stark red rock scenery (spectacular), it is incredible to see this lush green oasis that looks like something out of the movies. I love that this Oasis is the home of a single family who have recently built the B&B. It is great to have a swim in their lovely pool during the journey. It was very sweet that one of the very little girls had made a camel out of plaited palm frond to sell to us. This place will be one of our best memories of Morocco.

Organization circuits with buggy in desert 1 day to 1 week all included.
The lady at the desk will take a deposit for using the buggies varying between 800 to 1000 MAD (80-100 Euro) Money will be returned without question if no incident happened during the tour.
Liked: We were separated from the large group and given our own guide who took time to explain every stop.
Disliked: Little drops of rain started to pour, the buggy had a roof and it gave a better charm to the experience. Not a disliked :)
Highly recommended

The Kasbah itself is quite large although only a smaller section is restored and accessible to the public. Architecture is similar to that of other Kasbahs with a maze of large and smaller rooms. You can get a guide at the entrance if you are interested in the history of the Kasbah and the usage of the rooms. If you already had a guided tour in another Kasbah I would explore the building without a guide. The guided tour will not add much in that case.

The Studio is not very big and not so crowded with tourists. So if you are Happy you have the place more or less in your own.
The Guides Shows you around and Tells interesting stories about the movies and series which were produced there.
So not miss to visit the outer area too. You find a huge kasbah which was often Filmed as Part of Jerusalem.
This is really amazing and you can even walk inside or in Top of the building

This tour that we took was one of the highlights of our trip to Morocco. The guide was incredibly friendly and answered all our random questions without thinking twice. He was a very safe driver, even on some of the most narrow winding roads I have ever seen. He took us to all the places we requested and never said a word even when we wanted to spend a great deal of time looking at the sites and taking photographs. I would highly recommend using this tour company and I will definitely use them again next time I am in Morocco.

We stopped by when leaving Oarzazate, and where lucky (although this seems usual) to have this museum open just for us to visit it. The guide was special, very knowledgeable and gave information in full detail - which took us some 45 minutes to listen...Morethank you so much for your message .our museum is an opened window on the our rich berber traditions .
