I have been at this market many times during my visit in Thailand. It is quite large, stretching really from the pier about 1 km to the city center. It offers shade during the day. Of course you can buy almost anything at this Talat. Fresh fruit in season such as oranges, banana, mango, watermelon, strawberry, limes in addition to the fruit I do not the names of. All kinds of vegetables; fish, chicken, pork in raw state, cooked, fried, pickled or barbecue. Ready made meals. Sock, dresses,t-shirts, bags, backpacks, luggage. Dry goods such as herbs, tea. It's probably easier to list what is not available. I like the market for its authenticity. Only few farangs are visible there, most of them live in the area.

Wat Sangkathan is a large area for daily Buddhist activities such as prayer, meditation and has special rooms for longer stay over weekends or for intensive meditation retreats. It is very well known among Thai Buddhists as well as Foreigners since some of them have been ordained as monks in their search for peace and quiet to practice. The main hall with the glass dome - sometimes called the pyramid is used for prayer sessions and houses relics of revered Buddhist monks.

This park is on top of a mall which makes it interesting. It is perfect for kids up to age 12. The big water slides are slow but the rest of it is just fun. And it's pretty cheap--I can't remember the price but not much. We had fun.

Take the river express to Nonthaburi pier - cross over the river by the local ferry and take a tuk tuk.....then you are there - trust me it is worth the journey - a huge serene garden sorrrouds the temple facing the river.
It is a peaceful and wonderful experience away from the busy city but still easy to reach by the totally reliable river express boat - 45 minutes from center of Bangkok.
When you have enjoyed the tranqulity you can maybe enjoy lunch at nearby River Tree House retaurant and you will have had a day that few tourists should miss ------ better than paragon shopping in my humble view. BUT THEN - i live here.......

The museum is located around 100 meters from Nonthaburi Pier. It is housed in a huge traditional teak wood structure, whcih is around 100 years old. The 2 floors give an overview about the history of Nonthaburi and pottery, which was a major industry there.

Lots of trees, well maintained Gardens, lakes with fish and water birds. People come here to picnic and exercise. Lots of joggers after 5pm and even a free calisthenics class. Watch the traffic on the rIver and admire the beautiful bridge with very long name. The park was established by King Rama 3.

На стенах храма нарисованы самые старые фрески этой провинции. Кроме этого он отличается необычной формой здания, позволяющей сохранить прохладу в помещениях даже в жаркие дни.
