Prassa Beach

Although it is a really crowded beach, I don't wonder why: white sand and clear blue water!!!!! Semi-organized and few trees offering physical shade. Most people visit Kimolos in one day trip just to visit that beach! It is not close to the port, you need to go by car or bus.

Lovely beach, long, sandy, beautiful outlook/views and a nice breeze. There are trees for natural shade, but also some sun beds at on end, very reasonable. Nice clean sea, no crazy water sports. Very Greek. And you could walk around to the Beaches next to, plus 2 tavernas nearby. The sand lilies popping out of the sand was a lovely surprise, we hadn't expected so many. Sometimes only the two of us there! Much Preferred to Prassa.

Karas Beach

Clear and deep water with rocks all around. Perfect for diving. The tallest rock it's about 2 and a half meters tall. Colourful fishes swim under your legs. Another advantage is that even if it's windy there are rarely waves. The only problems are that there aren't many trees for shadow and it's not suitable for families with kids that don't know swimming. But if your kids are good swimmers they are probably gonna love Karas.

It is one of the most unique places in Greece. Inside these little colorfull doors few cm above sea level they use to be storage boats, now some of them are turned in to rooms. Above these are litle cycladic homes creating an amazing atmosphere that takes you to a trip back in time... The water is crystal clear!

Skiadi

Reviewed By huqu - Utrecht, The Netherlands

The Skiadi is an interesting mushroom-shaped rock formation. From the marked trailhead (reached via unpaved road) there is an easy and beautiful hike over a good path. Super panoramic views along the way. Either the views or the Skiadi itself would be worth the trip, and together they make for a magnificent excursion. Bring camera and water. You need at least 1:15h to return to the trailhead (return on same path). The Milos Mining Museum (in Adamas, Milos) has more information.

Aliki Beach

Reviewed By shakerLittleborough - littleborough

The main problem with this beach is that Bonatsa Beach is next door! There is no comparison between the two. One is completely sandy and the other is all pebbles. Mind you, if you like pebbles............
