You wanna shutup a kid and keep happy??
This place is very good. DO not go busy times though.... kid will run around until stuffed
The cafe not suprisingly expensive and not the best.
Also keep in mind aeasion times are on the hour. But worth paying for 2 hours if u get there a bit late

Wow! This place makes you wish you were a kid again. So many different unique equipment to keep kids occupied for hours. It also has a sea rate area for toddlers. Lots of trees to sit under for picnic. Also features a BBQ, BMX and Skate facilities.

Fantastic playground to bring the kids. Will keep them occupied for a long time. For the older kids you can head down the red gum walk that meets up with the Yarra trail which takes you down to the Yarra river. In the other direction the Yarra trail continues north along the river. Lots of parking at this great play space.

The Ambrose Archery centre is an Indoor Archery range that provides equipment on loan, instruction, in a friendly, relaxed environment.
My friends and I have always wanted to learn archery and this is a perfect place to start.
It's an indoor range so it's available in all weather conditions.
The supervising instructor is welcoming and he gets you set up and shooting in a matter of minutes. It's a sport that is easy to learn but hard to master, and we really had a blast giving it a go. I can't wait to go back and make this a regular activity.

Nice park to escape from busy Heidelberg. I park at darebin st only bcos I love walking amongst big trees there. There is a larger park on burgundy/Beverly rd at cricket/football ground. That's also where toilets are located. Features a lot of great bushland. Also a lot of different sport facilities. The Rotunda is a popular spot for photos. Near the footy/cricket ground is the fantastic possum hollow playground at Warringal park

Here's a mural that pleases people who like local history and the Heidelberg school of artists. It could also be used for teaching children. The mural is on the building wall beside the walkway that runs upslope from Heidelberg's main shopping street, Burgundy Street, starting between the Matteo and GreenOrange cafes, toward the car park on Cartmell Street. It shows an event that happened in 1904, a car trial held to test vehicles' capacity to go up Heidelberg Hill. The cars (modern then, vintage now) are going up the hill or returning. And they are watched by people and animals modelled on figures in paintings by artists of the Heidelberg school. The Walkway's two lamps are in a suitably old-fashioned carriage style.

apart from the historical place in Melbourne this mall holds its not really worth a visit. if you enjoy 'gritty' locations this place is for you. place trying hard to move past bad reputation. some people still apprehensive to visit due past history of drug scourge
Individual Photography classes or tours of Melbourne for 4 hours. Tours determined by what you would like to photograph and same with the time.
