This is a charming place. We learned about King Louis's birth. How the statue was protected during the war.
Lovely views and we bought some medals in the gift shop. We had a hired a guide for the day. We would of never found this treasure on our own.

I'm not great with heights and wouldnt bungee-jump even if someone paid me a million bucks ... but although there's a slightly hair-raising climb up a steel spiral staircase, I wasn't at all nervous probably because the views are so breathtaking. I really found it interesting to see how people lived in these caves so long ago. A little more history (in english) would have been helpful, but well worth the couple of euro's to see the fantastic views.

We’ve been lucky enough to visit wineries all over the place, but this one stood out! A fantastic mix of friendly, authentic, professional, all in a gorgeous setting. The wines are well-priced and delicious - while the rose is refreshing of course, don’t miss the white, including the “Arthur”! Owners Marie Caroline & Alberic will make you feel more than at home, and the team is great too. If you’re headed anywhere in this part of France, you absolutely must stop for a taste (or 3) of Carpe Diem!

The museum conserves everyday objects that were used until the middle of the twentieth century in Cotignac, a Provencal village. Activities of the Museum include: * Cultural excursions in Provence * Historical talks, research * Collaboration with other associations * Creating village archives * Selling traditional mulled wine sold during La Fete du Coing * Provencal language courses
Small volunteer run museums are often , dare I say, a tad boring! The initial enthusiasm often fades away and the exhibits are left to become stale and dusty.. Not this one! This is not at all stuffy and boring! Well researched and interesting the museum is evolving all the time thanks to the hard work of the passionate volunteers and the current President Derek Houghton. It offers a true glimpse into the history of the region and it's people. Well done to all involved.

A pretty shop dedicated to the natural and travel. Jewelry, bags, scarves and home fragrances in different natural materials: stingray, vegetable ivory, horn lacquered, essential oils ... Experience a real journey of the 5 senses with Julia who will be happy to tell you the history of each product! See you soon!
This is my second visit and won't be my last. The jewellery in here is lovely. I have a mango wood pendant and a coconut shell pendant that is enamelled. The bags are beautiful as well. On my list for my next visit.

Its a great walk from Cotignac we took the path via the Church Notre-Dame de Graces, it took us about one and a half hours to get there, the walk is well marked, although we are not particular religious a visit into the simple church will impress in this tranquil environment.

Very close to tourist office, easy to find and reach but we were eaten alive in the 20 minutes total we were there! Cute waterfall though

We spent 4 nights at Villa Mooresque and could not have chosen a better accommodation. Carole, our host was very welcoming and I really enjoyed our conversations as well as her beautifully japanese decorated house, our large bedroom and bathroom, the tranquility of the location, her super affectionate Shar Pei, Xiao Li and Carole's impeccable musical taste. We spent many hours by the pool and I could not recommend Villa Mooresque strongly enough.
Un grand merci Carole pour votre hospitalite et gentillesse and un grand calin à Xiao Li de la part de nous trois. C'etait un grand plaisir de faire votre connaissance.
A bientot j'espere
