Qsiba is a must visit place for those visiting Bizerte, Tunisia, and those who want to explore the old town of Bizerte while enjoying the breathtaking view of the Old Port of the town. The locals call it "Little Venice" because of the white-and-blue houses erected on the sea bank. I usually have a stroll with my family when I go back to Bizerte, my hometown, during the summer holiday.

Built from 1570 to 1573 by Ulj Ali, the military ruler of Algiers, after he had booted out the Spanish this fortress overlooks the Medina from the North. The views across the town, over the modern cement Amphitheater, are stupendous.
It is on all the touristic and the local maps but is very hard to get to it. It is on top of the hill, North-West of the Medina. Not much to see but an old fort, a building with a gate with some stairs, a couple of cannons. It will take 20 minutes of walking around the prison and Amphitheater and on top of the hill. I will a hint; don’t go around Blvd Saadi Carnot as you should according to the map. Take Rue de Medda from the Medina, turn left into cemetery and go up through it. It will take straight to the wall of the Spanish Forth. Look for a small gate. No sings, no directions, this is probably a secret. The entrance is free but a guard at the gate will ask to see an ID.
Going back to the Medina and the Old Port take the other way, turn right at the exist onto the main road and go down the hill to the Beaches area. Those are really nice. You will be passing by some nice hotels and resorts with decent Beaches. That is one of the 2 things I recommend in Bizerte, the Beaches and the Old Port.

Closed, just like many other attractions in Tunisia in February. I can only comment on the exterior, and it doesn't look like much. The officials should work harder on making these attractions available for public. I tried to get in 2 days in a row, morning and afternoon, all closed, no hour posted, no other info. The good thing, if there is one, there is a nice cafe right beside it, cool drinks and nice snacks in the shed right by the beautiful water front.

Pas super intéressant mais vu qu'il n'y a pas grand chose à faire à Bizerte, il faut y aller avec les petits enfants.
