Japanese Village at Colmar Tropicale

Reviewed By Celinell - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

We DID NOT manage to visit the Japanese Village nor the Botanical Gardens despite paying RM 15 each (Adult ticket) for both the Japanese Village and the Botanical Gardens. This was because we traveled with an elderly relative who had knee issues and could not walk up the stairs. And there were no other ways for us to get up other than the hundreds of steps from the carpark. It seems ridiculous that such a tourist attraction doesn't have wheelchair access at all. So disappointing.

For Buddhists and those who are interested, it is a great place with stunning Buddhas to visit and pay homage.

Chamang Falls

Reviewed By travellingdadonthego - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The falls was a nice cooling retreat on a hot afternoon. We went on a Thursday and there were a handful of other people there. Kids loved it and spent a couple of hours playing there. There was a sandy bank for them to play in. The currents were strong at some points so we didnt' venture out far. The changing rooms closed at 5pm (30c for entry) so keep that in mind. There were no food places nearby so take snacks with you. Also avoid the falls when it's raining or after heavy rain as it's known to be very dangerous.

Bilut Extreme Park

Bilut Extreme Park offers a different and unique ATV(All-terrain-vehicle) tour by providing a new way to explore the natural wonderlands of Bentong while enjoying a fun and safe ride through real untamed rain forest. We also provides outdoor archery game where you can test your archery skills in an outdoor setting. Besides, we also provides paintball game in a oil-palm plantation setting.

Reviewed By Ang T - Singapore, Singapore

We actually wanted to try out the ATV instead. Due to the minimum age restriction of 16 years old to ride alone. We gave up the idea and tried
out the archery instead. We purchased 60 bows with 18 bows free at RM40. It was fun & tiring for the both hands. It is easy to fun and location along the main road. The place is also equipped with a small rabbit farm and we purchased the feed at RM2 each.

This place was once a good, popular spot for picnic and enjoying the rainforest environment near the town of Bentong, Pahang. With several fatal drowning accidents these past few years, this place has become sort of "scary" and discouraging. Not to mention dirty (lots of rubbish unattended). Lack of taken care of by the park staffs.
