We went on a rainy day, and sadly there's not much to do in Aracaju.
Though museums are not really my thing , it is nicely done with lots of details and interactive guidance and very nice staff
From atalaia beach you can take a bus, taxi is 35 reais

The Orla appears to be a victim of speculation that has kind of sputtered in recent times. The kids park is rusty around the edges and the bumper cars parked. The TAMAR sea life park could be more exciting and inspiring. Some fairly large restaurants seem to do ok serving average food. Traffic races by at breakneck speed. There are a few abandoned buildings hoarded up like rotten teeth. But the sidewalks are beautifully picked out in black and white stone and there's a great cycling path. At night there are artisanato stands and you can get a coconut for a couple of reals.

There are some guided visits to the palace but the guides dont have too much information and give some very wrong information. You should try to see it by your own and read some information to confirm what the guide is saying.

We arrived very early, before the restaurant boat and it was amazing... little by little the tide went down and the "island" became larger and larger and really beautiful. Avoid weekends. It is too crowded and loses its beauty! Also, go early in the morning, so u can stay until 2pm when the tide is high again. The snacks were ordered were OK. I bought some cookies from a boy whose mother makes them that were AMAZING! The cheese crackers were great! We didn't take the big boat. We decided to take the small taxi boat, so we could stay there as long as we wanted.

This place is located in the south part of the Atalaia beach. The place has several restaurants and bars to drink or eat. The prices are a little bit higher than other parts. Most bars have live music at night.

Actually, I haven't been to all Beaches, but my friends told me the Beaches here were not that special. So I was pleasantly surprised to find Aruana a beautiful beach where the swimming was good, too. Not perfect conditions, but still fine for a dip.
You don't really need to go to Praia do Saco, but I do recommend the Beaches of Alagoas, if you can travel there (especially Marape, but even Maceio is underrated).
