So many people say to go here, but nobody tells you to get your tickets before driving out this way. We were disappointed to find that the show was sold out. When we asked if we could just sit for a drink before the show actually started, they said no because it was rehearsal. Too bad because the band sounded great.

We enjoyed our meals here, portions are not overly generous. The food is very good tasting. The views are absolutely incredible. The out door Seating is beautiful for any meal, rain or shine. The location is central in the town and you can walk through town from the restaurant. Parking is available, no Reservations needed

This property that had been a stalwart on Rt. 105 was destroyed by fire and was rebuilt in short order.
The mainstays are hamburgers and fries, and the fries are great. The hamburgers are a little meager in size, but again this property is not `The Woks`. Of course the putine is also a favorite.
That being said, the gals who work in the kitchen are friendly and anxious to help.

Perched over the MacLaren falls, our two restaurants offer dramatic views and a true gastronomic experience with menus based on a traditional French and Quebecois style, using local produce with exciting international influences.Muse, our fine dining restaurant, is open daily for breakfast and dinner. On Sundays, enjoy our famous Sunday brunch buffet from 9am-2pm. For something more relaxed, the Heron Room restaurant offers a Wine and Tapas bar alongside a popular bistro menu. The Heron Room and adjoining Bar Lounge is open daily from noon and features live music on Fridays and Saturdays from 7-10pm.Please visit our website for our most up to date menus.
It is lovely to eat at the Muse in the Wakefield Inn because you can overlook the waterfall as you dine. Music is low, allowing for conversation, and larger parties are in a different room - this was all much appreciated! The room near the falls is attractive and comfortable.
Service was pleasant and efficient.
The food, within the three course meal, was variable. We each enjoyed our starter, presented attractively and delicious - the chevre mousse. The main course was lacking something - more seasoning? something to hold the mushrooms in the ravioli together and add flavour? It was somewhat bland and disappointing. The desserts were also well presented and tasted very good. Both of us enjoyed our wine. I mention the main course because this restaurant is not inexpensive, and this should have been better. The rest of our experience was very nice.

This is a tiny quaint little restaurant off the main road in the cute little town of Chelsea Quebec.
The restaurant is small and not very fancy inside. You will find approximately 6 tables surrounded by small windows.
The pizza is one of the best wood stove pizzas I've ever had and judging by all the people who were walking in and out to pick up their pizza, I would say that I'm not the only one who thought it was so delicious!
This is not the typical pizza that one would find in a chain restaurant. I consider this gourmet/artisan pizza, hence, it is very pricey. My husband and I ordered one small pizza each (they were more like the size of a mini personal pizza sold in other restaurants), 1 glass of wine, and one gingerale. The bill came out to $44 and change. We were shocked at the price of this tiny pizza but it was so tasty and delicious that it was worth it. I would definitely eat here again. Thank you for Reading my post.

This place looks like your classic Quebec fast food poutine place at the side of the road, but it is serving up some of the best smoked ribs and pulled pork I have ever had! The ribs are smokey and juicy with just enough sauce. The pulled pork is also nicely smoked, without too much sweet sauce overpowering the flavour.
The poutine with pulled pork is excellent as well.
These ribs rival any I have had at rib fest and are well worth the drive.
Outdoor Seating is clean, covered and plentiful, with a large grass field for the kids.

Rustic charm in the heart of Wakefield Village. We are a small 26 seat restaurant, with an outdoor patio that seats another 20. Our restaurant serves upscale comfort food, great wines and local brews. All while dining with views of the Gatineau River and hills.
After a Saturday hike in the Gatineau Hills we drove another 30min to see the Wakefield Covered Bridge set against the fall colours. However, the highlight of our day was eating dinner here. Each of us couldn't help remarking how difficult it was to choose from such a creative menu. We felt honoured that the chef would share such marvelous food with us... oh the sauces! This is seriously delicious food served by very hospitable folks. So sad that we live so far away in BC and can't visit again anytime soon.

Discover internationally inspired flavours featuring products from our incredible local farmers! Located in the heart of Wakefield, Quebec on the Gatineau river, we have an amazing view that makes you feel like you are on vacation as soon as you sit down.
Went for brunch with friends after horseback riding at Captiva Farms. Ordered the huevos rancheros and unfortunately it came to me ice cold. My boyfriend insisted I return it, which I hate to do, but it really was inedible. The chef came out personally to apologize and said that I wouldn't have to pay for it. While it wasn't on the menu, I noticed there were French onion soup bowls at the kitchen window and inquired about it. She said she would make me a soup, free of charge, and also comped the wine we ordered. I had a bite of my boyfriend's eggs Benny and they were amazing. Great homefries too. I have to say that the French onion soup had too much bread in it though and it just soaked up all the broth.
