In the classic comfort of The Yeatman restaurant, guests will experience inspired cuisine with the accent on fresh local produce and on the imaginative pairing of food and wine. The pool lounge will provide a relaxed contemporary ambiance in which to enjoy a healthy light meal or gourmet snack while taking in the spectacular Panorama of the city. Light dishes and sandwiches are also served in Dick’s Bar with its wide choice of cocktails, wines and Ports.
We ate fish courses and others in the party had steak, all of us we very happy with the food and the wine service we received very professional staff, and an extensive menu and wine list with a beautiful setting too.

The food: good
Try the steak/meat "miminhos", or the codfish. Both great. If you don't like rare meat, ask well done. Rare though is just awesome, melts in your mouth.
Location: very central, riverfront gaia just next to Ramos pinto wines.
Price: very reasonable for what you eat
Staff and place: small restaurant with just few tables, good to avoid crowds. Simple but nice staff.
Not exceptional but great alternative to crowded/touristy places

Our restaurant offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where you can socialize with friends, family dinner or simply enjoy a home-cooked meal of good quality at affordable prices.
Walking from the Ponte Luiz into Gaia, most people seem to stop at the many eating places up to and including the Mercado. But keep walking to the block past the Mercado to find this small, family-run gem. The portions are large, the food perfectly prepared, the service friendly and efficient. The grilled sea bream and the garlic steak were both outstanding. The tomato salad was surprisingly flavorful and large enough for two. Their choice of house Duoro Valley wines were also very good, and available in half bottles as well as full sized. Skip the crowds at the larger tourist oriented places and walk a little further to Casa Dias. Unpretentious, reasonably priced, delicious.

MarioLuso - a tradition in the XXI century For three generations MarioLuso is being driven with passion and tradition. Its soul can be felt in hospitality and dedication, inPortuguese cuisine, Portuguese wines and homemade sweets, in a warm and cozy atmosphere, since 1942.
a friend of mine used to come to this restaurant more than 20 years ago. I'm pretty sure it didn't change: starters are elaborate, food is great and keeps traditional Portuguese flavor, wine selection is wide and Deserts remember the good old days.
rooms are very cozy with lots of items and memories from the past.
what's not to love? location. but I already wrote about the wine selection.

Myself and my friend love a good breakfast and brunch. This cafe met our high expectations! The breakfast was amazing! The carrot bread and pumpkin breads are amazing and the scrambled eggs were divine. The owner and waiter was incredibly sweet - explained everything very well, very gracious. We loved it! We would most definitely return again.

Please take my advice - this is a GREAT place ! My wife and I loved our meal, as well as the ambiance of this small, round restaurant. Presentation is very important to the chef. The waiters are skilled and attentive. The wine selection is very appropriate for the menu. The location can't be beat. Not one complaint. I recommend this place as a first dining stop in Porto.

Casa Machado, and a very typical tavern in the heart of Afurada the mouth of the Douro river, with a decoration on the fishing that takes us to the time of ancient taverns. Our list is short but of great quality and all products are carefully selected. we can highlight the lulinhas, the woodpecker and fried cod faces, among others. Here you can also find a compilation album of photographs about the history of the Oport city and surrounding areas.
