Stopped here for lunch whilst working on a boat. Very unpleasant experience over all. I got served raw pork and as I complained I got the look like I was complaining about nonsense, waiter didn't even bother to apologize and was somewhat uninterested on taking the plate back to the kitchen. Hence, got my food properly cooked and it was ok tasty, nothing to hype about. The other thing was that we got our after lunch coffees before the actual food and after the lunch we got asked if we liked our coffees now, whilst having our empty coffee cups standing there in front of us. Getting the coffees before hand didn't really bother us that much, but the waiters incompetence and careless attitude towards his job was just marvellous. Over all the staff seemed to be clueless and felt like half of them didn't even want to be there. I know it's a seasonal job, but please. Anyways, wouldn't recommend the place, but over that area you don't really have too much choice.

This is a favorite with the locals. The food is very good, and in the mid-price range. It is also hard to beat the location right by the water, so make sure you get a table by a window, to enjoy the view. There is a great bakery in the same building, and a popular beach right below.

Such a beautiful place to have a cup of tea or breakfast. Charming atmosphere and a beautiful cakes display with lilies. Personnel very helpful and kind. Water is free of charge. Everything is just so well designed to give you maximum comfort. From the garden you can enjoy the splendid scenery. Highly recommendable to come to Vaxholm just for this.

Strömma Restaurant is approx. 40' from downtown Stockholm in the archipelago. Great place to spend a warm summer evening eating Swedish specialities. Food, service and atmosphere are great and it's worth while taking a bus or the car out to the restaurant. The only disadvantage is a no pre-book policy, however while you wait for your table you van enjoy a drink and watch the boats passing Strömma Kanal.

On our first night in Vaxholm we chose to eat here based on recommendations. We were not disappointed as the quality of my wife's chicken dish and my fish - hake - were both high. Good if expensive wine. Excellent service.

An excellent Swedish Buffet. It is a large space with fabulous views of the natural environment of pines, rock and water. The buffet selections were very good and well worth having. It is self serve and you pick your own Seating. Very highly recommend.

Excellent lunch a regular wendsday. Got down rather later after one o clock. Mixed grilled plate with tasty sallad. This restaurang have excellent sence of food and drinks in this town. It´s a pity that it is placed rather shaggy close to traffic and nearly no sea side on this island. The menu offers loads of vegitarian and ecologicol alternatives, I am defentliy coming back soon.

Located not so far away from Stockholm. We were here for brunch to celebrate our daughter's birthday together with family and some friends. Was wonderful time, of course we started with some of the outdoor activities, the obstacle course and mini golf. The food was really good and a lot of selection to choose, the environment was really beautiful. Great service and great place!
