The restaurant is located in an ancestral house. Very charming. The owners are from Switzerland. Marie Louise one of the owners served us. She is very sympatic. You can choose a la carte, the 4 Course menu or the menu sympa , 3 courses menu @$25 offered from Monday to Friday. We were 5 , they all took the 4 courses menu and I had the menu sympa. I took the quail with snow peas. Delicious. I don't buy quail because I hate the little bones and this one was deboned. I loved it. Then I had the seafood multigrain risotto, also delicious and the hot puffed apple with maple ice cream was great. The guys had rack of lambs . The cooking was perfect. Good wine list with selection of imported wines so you usually don't know the winery. Price is very honest. When was the time to split the bill,ie for the wine, Marie Louise organized it pretty well. We recommend without hesitation. The food is great, the price is honest, especially that we are in the Laurentians , tourits area, the owner is sympatic. We will definetely return and I believe that during the summer it should be wonderful

Casual decor (paper tablecloths) for a restaurant serving duck a l'orange and entrees for $34. Fillet mignon was presented raw on a hot stone and the diner does the cooking to preference. The fillet was high quality although the other diners' meals were brought at...MoreThank you for your comments, we will give them to the owner of the Auberge. Hope to host you again in the future.

Don't expect anything fancy - far from it - but this little road-size pizza place makes up for its shabby exterior, by producing the best pizza in the area. Absolutely the local favorite. We love getting a large with half Nikos/half house with extra fresh tomotes. The greek specials, french fries and homemade pies are all awesome as well. Delivery is fast and appreciated. Always arrives hot at our place!

This resto has some strong points. The menu is varied, the portions are large and the service is excellent. What you won't find here is fine dining. The tastes are rather ordinary.. no real creativity in the cooking department. It's all basic spicing with absolutely no WOW factor. What you basically getting is a lot of ordinary food. Personally, i would have spent a few more dollars somewhere else for less food with better taste. With the huge selection, i suspect that many of the dishes are outsourced and pre-prepared. BUT.. if you are really hungry and you want variety, this place is nice.

What a wonderful lunch we had. We were four and ordered 4 different meals. Let me start by telling you that our hostess was the most friendly, efficient, gracious person we've ever encountered, her name is Marie-Michelle, she really made our day so much more pleasant. I had the Pig Knuckle entree, it was scrumptious, boneless very tasty and a thick delicious gravy, served with home made bread. One of us had the Smoked ham Sandwich, good to the last crumb, another had the Benedictine with ham, perfectly cooked, eggs runny as they should be. All was great and the prices are very reasonable, the portions arequite large. A great experience to enjoy with friends or family.

Visiting the area, this place was recommended for the best Poutine north of Montreal. It must be good because local police were eating there. Poutine was good, portion size was generous. We also had the Greek Poutine with Feta cheese. Service was fast and friendly. Stop by and give them a try.

The décor is one of the most inviting I have ever been too. The collection of painted goose aggs is fantastic. The walls are so beautifully decorated, and the side room with windows looking into a little creek. The main dining area also lovely and one can see the grill and watch how the pancakes=crêpes are done. They have a good selection of crêpe stuffings, as well as a good salad with grated cheese that you can order first while waiting for your crêpes. It can be a family outing, as well as a romantic date.

This restaurant used to be in oka, outstanding , then in hudson, outstanding , now up north. Was always a great restaurant but too pricey for the oka and hudson clientele , not the numbers to keep it in business. I think this time they have the right location. An absolute must and a "bring your own wine" to boot. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!
