Trip Advisor guided us to Bohem and we were still surprised to find such a lovely contemporary restaurant in Litomysl! It had simple and beautiful modern decor, good food, and really excellent wine. The first night we had dinner there we were very surprised at the white glove service, which was a little out of place. We shared a tasty and large Mediterranean salad followed by some good local dishes and a delicious
pana cotta desert with wonderful cappuccino. The Czech red wine Neronet from Hrabal vineyards was the best of our trip to the Czech Republic. The service was pretty good this first visit. We went back our second night just to enjoy a bottle of the red wine with cheese since was had dined with some Czech friends in their home that evening. Arriving about 8:45 pm we found different servers and rather indifferent service. The woman who did wait on us took away our cloth napkins since we ordered only wine and cheese, and seemed more interested in efficiently cleaning other tables than tending to customers. In all we would still recommend this restaurant as by far the best in Litomysl.

Well , we arrived to this place by a chance even without knowing that it is on Tripadvisor. They have around 6 different torts to get slice of it and many chocolate candies. We tried 3 different types all were great. Coffee is also very good. So go there for sweet moment or two...

Definitely worth visiting (and buying). Not a great coffee, though. But go for chocolates/pralines and you will enjoy it for sure!

Great quality of food and beverages. Lovely decorated restaurant with a lot of tables. Unfortunately, in every single visit there was not enought staff to provide quick service. I visited this place approximately 11 times.

If you visit the small town of Ceska Trebova, it may be interesting for you to visit the Pivovar Faltus which is a combined brewery and restaurant where they serve food and their own beer.
They have a number of different beers made on their own, although I only tried one kind (Pilsener, 11 degrees).
Some of the guests ordered food, but the kitchen managed to serve burnt potatoes. When the guests complained, the chef was not able to serve new potatoes/food, so they got the same food back without the potatoes.
Service was okay.

Beautiful decor, staff service quick, friendly and in english made perfect by the excellent meal the entire group enjoyed. I can fully recommend the restaurant in hotel Aplaus, which offers standard international cuisines as well as some traditional Czech dishes.

Příjemné místo k posezení jen tak u kávy a výborného zákusku nebo i na velmi dobrou pizzu. Moc milá a rychlá obsluha. Moc rádi chodíme posedět na zahrádku.

The food here was fine (not really great, though) and the service good, but it's soooo dark in this pub...

We were excited about the meals, prepared from probably fresh poultry with true smashed potatoes and excellent red cabbage. We would only appreciate a little bit more welcoming approach from waitress, she seemed to be quite tired, hopefully not by guests.

There is a big Ukrainian community in the Czech Republic, however there are only few restaurants serving Ukrainian food - U Kolji is one of them. Location of this restaurant (outside the historic center - facing ugly socialist era concrete housing estate) isn´t very attractive as well as a bit kitschy interior design, but once you take a place you´ll be pleasantly surprised by the professional service and excellent ukrainian food. We tried borscht soup (70 CZK) and cabbage rolls Golubci (135 CZK) together with moravian Pinot Noir - it was a superb lunch. If you are planning a trip to Litomyšl, don´t miss this place...
