We visited for dinner - in our party were one vegetarian and one other with several dietary restrictions and the chef was happy to alter the menu and even create custom dishes for us. Food was well cooked and interesting. The service left something to be desired - the enthusiastic and youthful waiting staff made a series of amusing errors including but not limited to leaving a serving tray on our table for much of the meal. We did not really mind - there was a sort of adorable well-meaning charm attached to the experience, much like the emotion raised whilst watching videos of baby pandas struggling to walk. The bill for a 3 course meal, cocktails and wine for 4 came to 270 euros. The staff could speak English and provided English menus. Overall an excellent restaurant which I would visit again anytime.

Authentic creole cuisine is served in a friendly and relaxed style. The drinks menu offers every local item and many more. The menu is geared to fresh seafood cooked to perfection to reflect the best of local and international tastes. The extensive dessert menu is unusual and welcome for this region. The beach view that accompanies your meal adds an authentic Caribbean atmosphere unsurpassed on this island. Perfect food. Perfect ambiance.

With little artifice, this place serves good Creole good, with a stress on seafood. Good portions. Service is prompt. The menu is limited, reflecting what is available that day. No WiFi. OK toilet. Hey, it’s a small family place, which provides decent food at a decent price. Not destination dining, but if you’re eating around Trois Ilets, it’ll do.

My husband and I booked the restaurant before we visited Martinique based on the reviews. We were not disappointed although it was a little difficult to get to without a car. However we arrived in time to look around the pottery village and visited the restaurant to ask the owner whether she could order us a taxi back to the ferry after dinner. She was very helpful and took full responsibility for ordering the taxi. When we returned later for dinner she advised us that she hadn't been able to get through to the taxi company but that one of her staff would give us a lift. We were then treated to a superb meal sitting outside with candles and low lighting with the crickets singing. There was even mosquito repellent on the table for us to use. All our menu choices were excellent, my husbands only regret was that he didn't try their Pina Colada! Thank you to Anabela and her staff for looking after us so well and persevering with our less than fluent french.

Stopped here while wandering through Village de la Poterie, and it fit the bill perfectly. Can't imagine what the reviewer complaining about prices was talking about--quite reasonable for a pleasant little country bistro. After a torte or quiche, don't overlook the sweets.

Your food will have fresh, top shelf ingredients, your service levels will be on par with those in america - sorry Frenchies, your service (compris) levels suck compared to ours.. but not here, ľaddition in minutes of completing your meal, not 10, 20 minutes as is par for Martinique. Don't miss this place.. not fancy, but fantastic food. Not cheap but dinner for to here, same as you'll pay elsewhere for mediocre. These guys are great. Make the drive!!

We felt obliged to start dinner with rum drinks--it is Martinique after all! The daiquiri had a nice sting, but was on the sweet side, the pina colada was fresh and smooth.
I enjoyed the whole grilled fish, which was not a huge portion but enough to cancel any dessert plans. My wife had the best choice with a set of "ecrevisses" i.e. Freshwater crayfish. Advertised as coming with garlic, they were still pretty mild.
Service was impersonal and slow. I also had to remind them about a beer order.
But we really enjoyed the view of the ocean and the distant lights of the capital.

Stopped in with a group of friends late in the evening. The staff was courteous and efficient, and the food arrived promptly. The heated Camembert appetizer was tremendously good.
There are three options for your meat/fish: classic, Thai, and Indian. The grilling stone is really hot! The one drawback is that the food preparation isn't ideal- the French fries are close enough to touch the raw meat, so grilling some of your fries might be a good idea.
Overall- very vibrant, lots of fun, good food.

Our extended family of nine wandered into this little cafe having just gotten off the ferry from Fort-de-France. We were warmly greeted by a server who spoke only French -- this IS France, after all ;) -- but we managed to navigate our way quite well as a couple of us have some high school French. The steak tartare was the hit of day and sad to say that's in large part because the other options were mediocre. The marlin was dry and a bit rubbery. The fries were good. But if you like tartare, this one was a treat: it came to the table deconstructed, unlike at most restaurants, and so we assembled it at the table, mixing in the onions and the capers and the relish and the egg yolk that came in a little cup. The beef was nicely ground; very tasty dish. I think the best thing this place has going for it is that it is Very French and it is located right on the main street in the village (hence the name).

DESIRE for freshness? Of delicious cooking from here or moreover? THE GARDEN OF THE ENVIES waits you in a setting pleasant, green and colored at the heart of the authentic village of the pottery of 3 Ilets. We feel there well, that we settle down near the attractive Fountain, under sprays or in the charming "VIP" corner Then what is your envy?
This is a cute little restaurant that has a very cool slightly rainforest feel to it. In terms of the food, it's very delicious and 10/10 in presentation. Definitely would recommend for a lunch date.
Location-wise not sure if it's ideal but I don't live in Martinique so I can't really say. If ever I'm in Martinique, I would definitely go to this restaurant with friends again.
