Excellent location beside the see in Mina - Tripoli. One can enjoy tasty Lebanese oriental cuisine : mezza, barbecue, salads, Big choice of seafood and fish, with a glass of wine or beer. After meals they always suggest Lebanese sweets and season fruits ( for free ) . Prices are slightly above the average, but I recommend to visit this restaurant.

The staff were very hospitable, welcoming us at the door.
The place is quite big, with a very authentic Lebanese feel to it.
The service was fast and the presentation was excellent, especially for the grilled platters.
The food was delicious, very reasonably priced, and you get complementary fruits and Lebanese sweets as dessert.
Definitely recommend this place!

Everything fresh and natural. Daily white grouper, baby barracuda, red mullet, sea bream. Simply grilled or fried. Sashimi, marinated raw fish, garlic-lemon sauce sauteed shrimps , octopus - calamari in sour sauce, own-ink boiled cuttlefish.
Very simple family restaurant. George the fisherman, mother the cook, son takes care the rest.
I explored by chance, when I was staying for long term, at few hundred meter distant hotel.
It is in Anfeh (Enfeh) . I ate at several fish restaurants in different towns in Lebanon. For me, Georges Al-Dayaa's is the best.
Last words, definitely Mediterranean-Lebanese.

I love Punto Alto. I have visited this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. The food is delicious and you can find something for everyone in their menu. Portions are huge so sharing is a good option. Prices are fair.

Finally found a place in Tripoli that serves real american hot and cold coffee blends here! I had an oreo brainfreeze which was excellent. A nice simple and cozy environment where you can grab your coffee and bring in your laptop to finish off some work or projects, read the newspaper or even just hang out with friends. The shop offers light snacks and desserts as well. They even sell a mix of ground coffee beans for you to enjoy your coffee at home. Make sure to drop by next time you're in Tripoli!

Al Sayad is the best ever seafood sandwiches in Lebanon. Fresh shrimps, fish, calamari & octopus prepared with the chef sauce & displayed in front of you on a daily basis. Go there to Mina - mar Elias street / groupi roundabout, ask for the sayad - Ayoub Zaini. You won't regret it.
