It must be at least half a dozen times we had pizza at Giacomo over the last three years - we always liked it.
Sitting inside or outside weather permitting it felt fine. Service was fine (sometimes a bit slow) but we were never in a hurry so didn't mind.
We always however had Pizzas so cant comment on pasta/fish/meat.
In any case the pizzas were always tasty and prepared with good quality and fresh toppings.
Sound Pizza place

“It was a pleasant cafe, warm and clean and friendly, and I hung up my old water-proof on the coat rack to dry and put my worn and weathered felt hat on the rack above the bench and ordered a cafe au lait. The waiter brought it and I took out a notebook from the pocket of the coat and a pencil and started to write.”Ernest Hamingway
The coffee sheep is a great little place in the center of Trencin, our morning visit was relaxing and enjoyable. Coffee was great, service very good, atmosphere enjoyable. All in great. What I did notice was that in the afternoon a lot of young people hanging outside and smoking. No smoking inside and all no negative activity, just a different vibe bit it's great coffee and arrive so highly recommended for a morning or afternoon coffee stop in Trencin.

In the first floor of OC Laugaricio, I can recommend to start with the Arabic coffee...they bring this to you with this Classic Arabic plate and small cups.
Food good in relationship to price good, I recommend salads as main course ( 7 types), my wife loves their penne vergene... They have meet, vegetarian meals and also typical Slovak food...
You can pay with credit card or cash.

We have had a end of year dinner of our company in that there. Ambiente good, food very good, so when You need a place for a small dinner or lunch with about 30 guests a good choice. What was a bit challenging was the gypsy musicians, that were playing there. I am a big fan of Janko Berky "Mrenica" and by his standards they were much below average..So to end with positives, food was really good, so if You are hungry, this is the place to go for...
Btw, when we chosen the restaurant, they have a good structured website with a nice menu in 3 languages, so You can choose very good before going there.

Nice restaurant furnitured in modern and very nice style. You can try international food from the best chefs in Trencin and maybe in Slovakia. U can have breakfast as well in buffet style. There is possible to have special occasion in small salon. Waiters are always very nice and helpful.

We ate here twice during our visit in Trencin - dinner on Sunday night and lunch on Tuesday. Place was busy both times. We split margherita pizza on Sunday night, added pepperoni or as locals call it - spicy salami. It was one of the best pizzas we had in Trencin. We had several glasses of Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine was surprisingly good. We had 2 soups, large salad and grilled chicken medallions with rice and veggies for lunch on Tuesday. The meal was excellent. A few suggestions- the soup bowl was chipped, I took picture of it. The servers touch each pizza by hand when they cut the pie in half - very unsanitary and surely not the hygiene you would want to see in restaurant.

Mainly the on-site restaurant to a new-generation craft brewery specialising in a wide variety of beer styles from around the world. Over 30 beer styles, all of own produce, available in the brewpub.
The best beer I had so far on my trip through Czech Republic and Slovakia. The IPA and Porter were great, but the Belgian style IPA was really the best. So if you are a beer lover, don't miss this place!

Restaurant is just at the edge of the city centre, bit hidden but having excellent reputation. Have to admit that it's worth of it... Menu is short but very strong. Traditional pasta, pizzas and seafood. Plus some soups. Simply Italian chefs keeping the quality.

We were invited to a birthday party , that took place in this restaurant. We couldn´t refuse to come, although it was a long journey.
We loved the interior of the restaurant, the attitude of waiters, as well as a gourmet meal experience .
We were nicely surprised, that Slovakia has such a qualitative restaurant.
