We visited this place twice and liked everything -good salads, good meat, good fish and nice wine. Located in quiet place and close the city center.

It is very difficult to find information online about this restaurant. However, every local person will recommend this restaurant for the best fish in the region, and even people from more remote locations (e.g. Banja Luka or Sarajevo) are aware of this restaurant. It is bit outside of the town, and reachable only with car. Lies directly on the river and has its own living fish in small spring in the middle of restaurant.
Excellent food, amazingly beautiful environment on river bank, highly professional service. We were here for a dinner with friends, and they loved it so much, they'll probably stay in motel next time. Its traditional cousine, we had lamb & veal under the bell and grilled trout for main course. Domestic cheese & kajmak with homemade uštipci (type of salty donut) for starters.
It is bit tricky to find the place, but there are street signs that can lead you at the place.

It a great spot to stop and observe a local life in the shadow of platoons. Coffe tables are busy with local people so get ready that you will be souranded by cigaret smoke. during siesta time it becomes empty and dead - best to come in the morning or lunch time.

In the small city of Trebinje, this was an exquisite experience. The food was great, the wine even better and our host Zdravko made our evening the best in our holiday. If you are within 50km of this restaurant: go here, ask for him, and you'll have an evening only to be described in books and movies. The view from the table looks photoshopped in real life. This really should be in 'The world's 50 best restaurants'. We took some bottles home to remember.

The restaurant is situated in a village called Grab, some 13 kilometers away from Trebinje, on the way to Herceg Novi in neighbouring Montenegro. The restaurant's building will bring you back into the past because the place has preserved all its historical features: stone walls, old-fashioned furniture and many household objects. We had roast veal with potatoes, prepared in traditional way, typical for Herzegovina (teletina ispod sača). Delicious! Home-made cheese, sour cream (kajmak), olives and red wine made the dinner even better.
If you want to enjoy local cuisine and learn more about typical Herzegovinian village and its features, come to Bendiš. You'll love it!
P.S. The border to Montenegro is very close and beautiful city of Herceg Novi (MNE) is just 27 kilometers away from the restaurant.

After long drive from Mostar seeing road sides full of garbage this was really pleasant surprise. The meals and wine were good and prices seemed below expected and very reasonable. The view from restaurant is spectacular and place is worth to see if You are going through Trebinje.

We asked our host where the best place for burek/pita was on our first visit to Trebinje. We ate at Natalija twice then, and three times over our two day stay on our second visit. The burek -- phyllo dough stuffed with meat, cheese, spinach or sometimes other ingredients -- is absolutely addictive.

I was in this restaurant many times and each time I had different meal. Everything was nice and very well prepared. This restaurant has great values for money! I was fully surprised with calamari for which I haven’t expected to be that good – but they were great! Turkey in gorgonzola sauce is also my in top 5 meals. Restaurant is very modern and has romantic touch. There’s also a VIP room, but I never visited it – yet. :)
Their home made Chardonnay has all my recommendations!
