See how famous Kampot Pepper - Green, Black, Red, and White - is produced, without chemical fertilizers or insecticides, taking a tour in Cambodian, English, French, German, Japanese, or Spanish. We use solar and wind energy. We have one simple bungalow - inquire for prior arrangements. We can be reached from Kep (or Kampot) by tuk-tuk or taxi; many visitors come with locally rented motorscooters
Good place, well maintained farm, combines different organic ways of living: no pesticides for pepper, electricity autonomous, they try to safe water and don’t waste anything. It’s free of charge with a tour, you can buy some pepper afterwards and also lunch and dinner are available there. I took a tuk-tuk from Kep to visit this place, salt fields and fishing village for 15$. Or you can easily get there by bike or bicycle.

Lovely little garden with beautiful butterflies of all kinds. Only problem is to get there as the "road" is a path of rocks and very bumpy with tuktuk.I wonder if it is available with a car at all... at least after the rain season. But worth seeing if you get there...

Kep National Park is accessible from just passed the Veranda Resort and costs $1 USD per person to access. The walking trail is very wide and well walked, taking between 1.5 and 3 hours to complete. The incline on the main track is gradual and not overly steep so is suitable for those who are not overly fit. There are some stunning views along the walk and some lovely cool shaded areas. There’s also a cafe on the trail that serves food and drinks. There may be monkeys, we saw a few but didn’t have any issues. Make sure you pack some water, a hat and sun cream.

The Beaches at Kep town seemed fairly unattractive (altho THAT unattractiveness paled in comparison to the unpleasant Beaches at Sihanoukville) so we took the little skiff ride over to Rabbit island for lunch and the afternoon. Not strewn with garbage, quite a decent chicken in green peeper meal at the restaurant in front of the bungalows, and some ok chairs made it a good time. Prob not as good if it’s busy. Take your own towels. Stepping stool to get in and out of boat in knee deep water at island— so be prepared.

The "cave" is actually just a short tunnel through the limestone rock formation connecting the outside with the actual circular hole, open to the sky. The walls are very tall, being in the center of the hole is impressive. The "sleeping Buddha" and other small sculptures build into the crevices are awesome. My advise is to ask one of the young "guides" to show you around. They are typically funny and smart, it's so much nicer than to do it on your own saving 50 cents.

It looks nice, but I there is nothing sensational about it, just a large statue in the sea exactly as on this photo. By the way, do not expect crab giants like this around here, Local crabs are relatively small including these you will eat at Crab Market

We went to Samathi pagoda on a moped after visiting the butterfly farm, as it is in the same area. If you have already walked in the national park you might be familiar with the yellow signs to follow, they had the same signs used for here which makes it fun trying to spot! It is a dirt track road and even with recent rain it was passable. It is a lovely calm place and the views are lovely.

The beach is small and is maybe not the most beautiful.
But, the atmosphere is top rate. Loads of local Cambodians enjoying a weekend or day at the beach. Great food, music and smiling families hugely enjoying themselves.
the beach is also quite well managed, I saw teams in the mornings cleaning the beach.
Overall a nice place to visit and experience a bit of Cambodian beach life!

the ranch is well run and the staff are friendly and helpful. Riding through the hills and by the beach is very agreable
