Fine waterfront dining in Spanish Wells! Fresh cooked food with a modern twist. Serving Lunch and Dinner Wednesday through Sunday
Finally a restaurant on the island with a beautiful view. Been there for the second time and really enjoyed it. Excellent food, service and reasonable prices. We had the Pork griot and the Pork Cubano, a Kalik, 2 Perriers and 2 espressi for 62 $...MoreThis review makes us smile so much - this is the exact reason we opened the Shipyard! Thanks so much for leaving such a nice review and making us feel like we achieved what we set out to! Hope we will see you back soon!

First time to Spanish Wells and Budda's was our first stop for food and a drink. Met the owner Budda, who was very informative and helpful with getting to know the Island. Food was great, with the traditional outdoor island bar atmosphere. Convenient liquor store with ice next to the restaurant for a convenient stop on the way out. Became our regular hangout while on Spanish Wells, including for New Year's.

At noon today we ate lunch at The
Generation Gap. The stuffed crab dinner was delicious. I also had the mango slushy and it was very good. In fact my family made another stop later in the afternoon for another slushy!
Others in my family had hamburgers and they were very good.

The Sandbar was a great location on the water, but very windy at night. It is a long and tricky ride from the Pinder's rental, but you can tootle around on the golf cart and have an interesting ride along the way. You may want to bring a sweater if you are cold blooded. We were there both times we went at night, but heard this place is beautiful in the morning, nice spot to swim, beautiful view of the ocean, hang out in the outdoor arrangements (lounge chairs, hammocks and shaded areas). Also has a full menu for dinner too, which was fantastic & full bar (We had the mango daquari: which was my favorite). They even make the best Skittles shots which were very reasonable.
The locals and staff were very friendly and nice to sit and talk with.
This is a great place to stop and visit when your in town.

I was on a girls family trip as group of 9. We went there the first night right at 5pm when they open. We sat at 2 different tables next to each other. The menu has tons of choices compared to other places we checked. The prices are also really good!! We ordered things as burgers, salads, wraps, chicken salad, grouper dinner, grouper burger and lobster bisque! The side salads where simple but plenty ample! All the ladies were happy each time! Thank you so much Anchor Snack Bar Restaurant for your kindness and great food at a great price!!! We will for sure go back in the future.

Wreckers Restaurant & Bar is located at Spanish Wells Yacht Haven & Marina and has scenic views over the harbour. The restaurant serves Mediterranean and Bahamian cuisine and has a fully stocked bar which offers soft drinks, local cocktails, international wines and draught beer.
Wonderful view and great place to see a resident manatee. We were there just before kitchen closed from lunch to dinner. Staff was quick to show us we were an inconvenience. Food was average at best and $140 for 4 meals and 2 drinks. Maybe dinner is better.

We had been to Salt n Peppa before for a refreshing limeade but were always rushing off to do something else with no time to eat. Today we were having a relaxing day and took time to grab lunch. Susan served us up a club Sandwich on homemade bread and the chicken Caesar salad. Yummy dressing, crunchy croutons, and chicken made this salad a wonderful lunch. Susan was the nicest person we met. Most people are stand offish but she truly made our trips to her restaurant memorable.

Two flavors available each night, they are posted on the billboard on Main Street all day. Ice Cream is soft serve, homemade local flavors, and reasonably priced. Opened from 7-9pm every night but Sunday. This is also the hub of local news and chat each night, very friendly local owners, it's refreshing to listen to their stories of island life. This is also a hub of tourist advice, where to go, what to do - and they love to hear back on your experience. Great food, service and more.
