Food is great, specially if you haven't eaten Italian food for a while. They have homemade pasta and gnocchi.
Taste wise the food was awsome, but could improve on their presentation.
The place is great with a nice tranquil beach and a great house reef.
Don't forget to order the tiramisu!

This restaurant is one in not so many choice in this small city. They offer buffet style with so many dish just like in Padang / west sumatera restaurant. The different here they use more spice like more into mediteranian flavour. They have good rendang (slow cooked) chicken in curry like sauce and their traditional Aceh food the Mie Aceh (noodles) in dry or with curry gravy. The taste is just average and the price is ok. The staff is friendly also and try to communicate in english as well

I've stayed here a few times over the years and have always loved the accommodation. The bungalows that overlook the water have spectacular views. They are basic but clean and well presented. I reckon it's the best place on the island if you're looking for quiet, beautiful and laidback.
The range of dishes is average by restaurant standards, but the food's tasty and filling. Whilst Mama is always friendly and welcoming.

This is a great little restaurant/cafe. Perched on the beach it has friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, good views and great food. Dee Dee' s makes its own flat breads which are delicious - there is a range of western and local offerings. Owner Pak Lukman can also arrange local boat tours.

This little French-run cafe is definitely worth a visit. The food is delicious and well-priced and it is a really nice place to just chill. It can get busy in the evenings, so be prepared for a bit of a wait, but it's worth it! Note that when we visited in early May it wasn't yet open for breakfast and only some days for lunch.

When visiting Sabang and needed to have some lunch, it’s nice to do it in the traditional Aceh’s restaurant sometimes. And this place is one of not so many choices you can choose. Almost all of dish in this restaurant is made from fish. Tuna, Bass, Even Grouper. And they are fresh from the fisherman not that long ago before served in your plate.
Like a traditional restaurant, you cannot find fancy food nor drink. So you can forget about them for a while and enjoy the meal this restaurant could offers. You will like it!

Truly a home away from home where you can rest and chill, connect with other travellers before or after dive or yoga, just relax put your toes in the send and enjoy the view with a juice or a coffee... We also propose a lot of different snack and treat depending on the inspiration of the owner.
