Karlobag (Italian: Carlopago) is a seaside municipality on the Adriatic coast in Croatia, located underneath Velebit overlooking the island of Pag, west of Gospić and south of Senj. The Gacka river also runs through the area. Our job is to offer you as much dishes as possible, fresh fish, crabs and lobsters, sea fruit from our sea, all kind of meat, prepaired on any way you prefair, cold or hot dishes, pasta, pizzas, traditional croatian food. Pizzeria OK is a place I cannot consider positively.
The food is large in quantity, but short in flavour.
We had an octopus salad, Pag Island cheese, scampi and a sea bass.
All really basic apart the the cheese.
On top of that, the restaurant is not cleaned at all, most of the tables do not have a table cloth and are not cleaned before the service, and - as we could see while going to pay - the kitchen is a disaster as well a s as the bathroom.
The price is in line with the are. We spent 450 kune including also half litre of house wine (terrible) and a small bottle of water.
Despite we appreciate even basic places, we liked the view and we really enjoyed the genuineness of the personnel, we cannot consider close to any good our experience at Pizzeria OK.

Zal is a very good restaurant by the sea, not far from Novalja and Gajac.
You can eat food or meat (Croatian specialties are served as well).
Everything is excellent. Good service and West-European prices.
TIP: The restaurant is also reachable from Zrce Beach (there is a small pathway which starts just behind the Kalypso Club)

We have been visited Croatia in the summer of 2017. Took a round trip at the see side of many small town inclusive any other small cities.
For lunchtime we have been arrived to Karlobag. There is a small, cheerful downtown right at the see side, at a harbor. It was a very hot time, that is why we wanted into the shadow. We have been found this small restaurant directly at the harbor. The ambient, the attendance, the foods and the beverages were more than kindly and great. This small own, family leaded restaurant a bit help to relax and enjoy the croatian feeling. You can find here from the seefoods, meats till the good wine almost everything, but i think more than enough for a short staying. This arbor at the shadows side was a great time to had an abundant lunch. Great time, that we want to enjoy any other times again. Take a try it!!

We stopped there during our cycling trip. The next door tourist agency was already closed but staff from Baska Bura was very helpful. The waitress phoned to the owner, who came in 2 minutes. In meantime we were served with the coffee...
We didn't tried the food, but daily menu of burger and drink looks very promising.
The location is outstanding - by the main road but on elevated position and big Terrace with the great view over the place below, coast line and Pag island in behind.

Only place in town on a Monday night that was busy. Always a good indicator.
Wide range of food nicely presented and served promptly. Good choice of drinks. The 2 girls waiting table never stopped and people were waiting for tables to free up wouldn't,t happen if food was rubbish. Prices reasonable especially being tourist area. Well worth a try

Dopo una toccata e fuga la scorsa estate, quest'anno abbiamo deciso di fermarci per due settimane a Karlobag, complice di questa scelta anche la bellissima spiaggia Tatinja, dove oltre al mare limpido c'è anche la possibilità di pranzare in spiaggia
Quest'anno abbiamo trovato una gradita sorpresa: una super pizza. Ivan, pizzaiolo competente e veloce, sforna ottime pizze e non solo.....è bravo anche con la griglia - peccato che sia solo di carne e non anche di pesce. Il servizio è veloce: un plauso alla cara Nina.
Un suggerimento: non sarebbe male l'aperitivo serale in spiaggia....che ne dite?
