We had three meals here and all were quite good. You just can't beat the spectacular view of the valley from the outdoor Terrace. The service was friendly and helpful and the food was all quite tasty. They have limited English skills but everything worked out okay. The pasta dishes were excellent.

Ecovillage Grabovci is located in Proložac Gornji, near the town of Imotski. Excursion site is situated 8km from the Blue Lake and 6 km from the Red Lake. Family Grabovac wants to evoke former original way of life of the region to their guests with special emphasis on the excursion destination and gastronomic offer that includes: various homemade brandies, red or white wines, doughnuts, prosciutto, pancetta, fresh cow cheese, boiled cockerel with polenta and soup, spit roasted cockerel, roast meat under the bell, roasted lamb and traditional cakes.
This place is unique and authentic eco-village. Food is made from homemade ingredients and is so delicious. Friendly staff make the atmosphere so warm and welcoming. There is also a wide range of activities you can do: play sports on a meadow, take a ride in a cart with horse, visit the restaurant's farm, play traditional game "balote", taste domestic brandy "rakija" and so much more.

Having to go to Imotski once in a while, I asked for a nice place to eat, and than local information is very useful !
Reason for me to share this tip with you.
Driving to the place is easy, but you won't discover the restaurant at first glance.
After only a couple of miles you'll see the hotel with the same name on your right, stop and park there !
Now cross the road and step down to the Terrace of the restaurant, as that's well hidden on the left.
The Terrace is most idyllic, at a small river, with ducks and geese swimming around.
(Not far away, a bit "downstream" you can rent a canoe, for a couple of hours of family pleasure.)
But the restaurant now, as it's serving friendly priced local food, all of fresh and tasty, and on a hot summer day this is a place to sit down and relax while having a bite.
The food is good, nothing really special, but fresh and nice, and the location is worth a visit when you happen to be in Imotski to see those two famous lakes.
And like they say, the further away from tourist traps, the better it gets :-)

I spend a lot of time in "NU", it's my favorite place, for my family too. Very pleasant stuff, very good music, nice environment, especially in the summer garden. During the summer, often they have a live music in garden, that's amazing. Recommended for every young people with good taste.

Geweldige wijn/koffie bar in Split met een prachtig terras! Heelijk om hier in de ochtend te zitten met een kopje koffie en een vers croissantje of s'avonds met een heerlijk wijntje en kaasplankje :-)

Hardly anyone here, but what an attentive and pleasant chap who waitered on us. Probably the owner, we didn't speak Croatian, he didn't speak English, but we got everything. Tomato salad, delicious ham and cheese platter, grilled squid, grilled fish (presented to us before being cooked!) and schnitzel (grilled chicken and chips which my son wolfed down). Only cash accepted. Just loved the experience and food. Apparently the goulash he was cooking for the evening is a speciality of the place - shame it wasn't ready for lunch.
Don't be fooled by the look of the place, the service and the food was fantastic!

We received a very warm welcome. The menu is very broad and I've never seen Large pizza like this! I know burgers are meant to be easy food, but these are soooooo tasty! Lovely people working here too with very good English. Enjoy! ?
Wine cellar with great local cusine. We offer group sightseeing with dinig and wining. Food we offer is homemade like famous dalmatian PEKA (baked meat with potatoes spiced wit dalmatian herbs), dalmatian prsuto with homemade cheese served with homemade bread and savory donuts. We produce our own wine that was reworded many times. Our wines are Kujundžuša, Crni Šimun, Bili vuk and Rose Šimun.
