Experience tranquilities at The Rainbow Inn Boutique Resort, where quality, style and tailored service come together. Our hotel accommodations surrounded by lush Gardens perched on the edge of the Caribbean Ocean, take relaxation to another level. Just steps away from our award winning Restaurant, specializing in fresh catch seafood, certified angus beef, woodfired pizza and organic produce, enjoy weekly live entertainment, sophisticated cocktails and unrivaled sunsets.
They currently have pizza night on Mondays and Thursdays. Reservations are required. There is a band too. The wood oven grilled pizzas are great and one pizza will easily feed two hungry adults. The service was friendly but they messed up our order.

Stopped by on a Saturday when traveling from North Eleuthera to Rock Sound. While the appearance does not stand out, the food does. Four in our party and we had a variety of lunch sandwiches: Italian, Mushroom, and BLT. All were hot, fresh, tasty, and unique. The desert was a key lime pie that rivaled any I had ever had.
The staff was friendly, helpful, and timely.
If in Eleuthera, try it!

Give me something good and real and unpretentious. Add a beauty of a setting in a relaxed aquamarine world, add cheerful, intelligent conversation, a pile of the day’s haul of stone crab claws... and the peace to enjoy.
A treat to eat at the Front Porch, Eleuthera.
Everyone around was having a good time, gentle, relaxed, and hearing the sea .
Best wishes to the genuine lovely couple who own the place.
Cheers!

Queen's Highway North, 1 mile south of Glass Window Bridge, 3.5 miles north of Gregory Town. Two Story Building, white trimmed with yellow.
Based on TA reviews, we stopped for lunch. Very limited menu and mediocre food. Indifferent service. Maybe it’s better for dinner, but definitely would not go back for lunch.

I first came to The Cove with a large group of friends for their New Years Eve celebration in 2015. It was an unforgettable evening with an open buffet that included fresh sushi, filet and lobster tail. The food was incredible. A 25 person brass band paraded through the dining room in costume before midnight - followed by an outdoor DJ, fireworks and a bonfire on the beach. Every time I have mentioned Eleuthera since then I have brought up my incredible experience at The Cove. Unfortunately tonight I returned for a second NYE and had quite the opposite experience. The management seems to have changed and with it the entire experience. The buffet is gone and upon arriving for our reservation we were told it would be a 5 course pre fix meal. We had been quoted $250 a head upon making our reservation, not including drinks. The food was bad, the service was worse, no fireworks or bonfire and the whole night was ruined upon the arrival of a nearly $4k bill for 6 people. For what? We have eaten in the best restaurants around the world and never been so inequitably charged. Upon asking about the bill the GM David was full of excuses that didn’t add up. And extra fee for walking in? We made a reservation over a week ago and called to confirm it earlier today - which one of your staff members confirmed in front of you tonight. What else was added? I personally had one drink with dinner so am unsure of where he additional $2500 in charges came from. I can see why this year the dining room was half empty for your NYE celebration. Unfortunately I will now be telling everyone I know to stay away from The Cove.

We went to Uncle Gene's for a low key dinner. The food was excellent --- we had the conch bites and lobster sandwiches. We went early and during the off season so we were the only people there. A few of the local girls came in for food and sodas. Everyone was so nice and be sure to ask about why the place is named Uncle Gene's.

I would have enjoyed lunch there much better if the Seating was more comforable. The garden is lovely and the food good but I went home with a back ache die to very uncomfortable chairs and will not return.Thank you for your review. We appreciate your suggestion re the chairs and have taken your advice. Hopefully the next time you visit you will feel much more comfortable.

The menu offered is mainly local Bahamian cuisine with the welcomed addition of Guyanese dishes. We very much enjoyed a late lunch there yesterday. We were the sole customers, but it's the "quiet season" in the Bahamas; school is back in session and there are very few tourists. In spite of the lull, Colette (co-owner with husband Franco) enthusiastically prepared a mouthwatering "falling off the bone" rack of ribs and her well known chicken curry, flavorfully influenced by her Guyanese background; loved it! Many of her spices are shipped directly from Guyana. Speaking of effort to please, it doesn't get much better! Excited to return for Friday night live music!! ...Call ahead for the day's specials!

Our last visit to Eleuthera was off season so many of the businesses had closed down for a month to get ready for the "busy" season. On our last night we struggled to find a restaurant and I remembered seeing an internet posting on Surfers Manor. When we pulled up it looked closed. A native Bahamian greeted us in our cars and asked if he could help us. We mentioned that we were looking for dinner and he invited in and said he could make us Grouper and such. We waited on the porch with the resident cat and drank rum punch. In a short while the man brought us our dinners in to-go containers. Unbelievable hospitality, incredible grouper! So glad we found this little inn/restaurant. Neat, clean and really good food that night. The man didn't have change for our bill so we said don't worry about it we are so grateful for the meal. He offered to cook us breakfast on the way to the airport at 5am! Now that is going out of the way!
