I stopped here with family on the way back from a visit to Rum Point. I read about it on TripAdvisor beforehand and knew what to expect. Vivine cooks out of her home and it’s inexpensive compared to other places on Grand Cayman. The Seating area is a good size patio with a beautiful view of the ocean. The atmosphere was very relaxing. I got the fish fry and carrot milk and my partner got the goat curry and carrot-ginger beverage. Everything was really great. The curry goat was flavorful and appropriately spicy. The fried fish was also very good along with the rice and beans and the fried plantains. The carrot milk was sweeter than I expected but very good. The carrot-ginger was less sweet and I would go back just for this drink. Parking can be a little difficult. I would definitely come back here again. I really enjoyed the food and the view.

We stopped off here for dinner and really wish we hadn't bothered, the food was awful. My wife and I both ordered a traditional style Carribbean curry, mine with chicken, my wife had shrimp, they were both bland, flavourless and bizzarely served. We coulldnt wait to get away, the service was as pretentious as the band that were playing. Gimmicks like the rum collection do not help, we should have walked away when they began highlighting that.. but we stayed to endure what has to go down as the worst meal we have ever tasted in the carribean..
Congratulations.. Avoid!

Delicious, reasonably price food featuring Italian dishes as well as locally caught fish. A small restaurant with friendly staff. A well thought out wine list.and we are open on Sundays
Great restaurant across from the Wyndham Resort in the Eastern District. I'm Celiac and their gluten free Meatlovers pizza was amazing! One of the best pizzas I've ever had and my husband enjoyed his just as much as I did. Our second visit there the Sausage and gluten free penne in Marinara sauce was very flavorful and good. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and they do take out!

Eastern Star Bar & Fish Fry was establish in 2005 in the central district of East End over looking the pristine turquoise waters and great barrier reefs . We provide the Islands best local dishes and sea food including Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Barracuda, parrot fish, Grouper Conch Fritters, Lobster and shrimp. The Restaurant and beach side bar is open every Saturday and Sunday 11am-7pm and the bar is open 11am-1am everyday.
This place is practically hidden by another building and parking is limited. We opted to park in the gravel next to the road. Walk down a small path to the building and place your order at the window. A friendly dog visited with us while we waited for our food. I explored the beach area and found it quite cute with a lot of tables. You can order a drink from the bar next door and bring it to the restaurant. We took our order home with us. When we opened the boxes, hubby discovered his red snapper was a whole fish and I had a large portion of a fried fish. Naturally, there were the fritters we love, and they were light and delicious. Our fish dishes were also good. Preparation is simple but satisfying. Prices are reasonable.

Amazing family run business. Enjoyed an adventure of stewed turtle on my first visit and then returned later in the week to try their jerk chicken. A must stop. We took ours home and had it for dinner. They have a lovely outdoor Seating area if you wish to eat onsite.

We only stopped here because we couldn’t get into The Lighthouse on a Sunday and it couldn’t be more different but just as good in its own way.
There was a whole range of fish dishes available immediately and another list cooked to order in 15 minutes. We went for the garlic shrimp (in English that’s King Prawns!) which was delicious with Rice, salad and plantain. The portion was enormous and many other diners took a box home that they couldn’t eat. We had 12 King Prawns each (the previous evening we had 4 in a top restaurant!).
A great road side stop.

Located near the road in the Wyndham Reef Resort, this is a quick place to pick up food for the beach or to take back to your room. There is outdoor Seating . Like most Subway's, there's a daily special where you can get a combo meal for 6CI$ or a footlong alone for 6CL$. Found the food to be very fresh and reasonably priced. This Subway also offers a personal size pizza and pre bottled beverages. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, one of the most affordable places to eat in the East End. Note, no indoor Seating.
