Europa-Park is closed until November 24. In the heart of Europe, between the Black Forest and the Vosges, lies one of the world's most beautiful theme parks. More than 5 million people from all over the world visit the park each season to enjoy the excitement offered by more than one hundred attractions and shows. The innovative European theme concept; one of the largest hotel resorts in Europe; the various decorations for each season; and the large number of diverse and colorful events make Europa-Park a one-of-a-kind getaway destination all year long.
We came at the start of the Easter school vacations. Mid-week, bad weather forecast (that only partly materialised). The place was maybe 20% full. There was zero queueing. Zero. Seeing how far we had to walk through queueing pens, I can only imagine what July is like. We focussed on the 'big rides' and did 17 in 6 hours. I couldn't take much more.
The whole place is beautifully themed, and immaculately clean. I did not love Disneyland, but I loved Europa Park.

Funny-World is a leisure park for the whole family with children from the age of 1 year. The leisure park is located in Germany near Rhinau, between Freiburg and Strasbourg, 7 minutes away from Rust Europapark. Funny-World offers more than 50 exciting attractions. Discover the attractions: Revolverbills, Flying Sombrero, Big Montain Splasch, Sky Diving and more with your whole family.
Reasonable price for admissions make this very affordable. Ideal for children between 2 and 12. Admissions for one adult and two kids was less than one adult to Europa park. Over 50 things to do. In good weather take swimming costumes for the kids as there is a wet area.
Only downside. Queues for self service restaurant. Ok. I was there on a busy day but nearly an hour waiting to get food! However there are plenty of places to eat your own pre packed lunch. Not near restaurant obviously but otherwise all around. Next time I go I will take a picnic.
Had a great day out and the kids, aged 10 and 7, enjoyed it a lot
I will go again.

A trip along the river through the wildlife sanctuary is definitely a must. It's beautiful, peaceful, romantic. The ride takes about an hour and a half and you can sit on a long, narrow boat, relax and enjoy the idyllic scenery. Just make sure you have plenty of mosquito repellent!

WIND DOWN YOUR DAY - WAY UP HIGH On the 5th floor of the hotel "Colosseo" you'll find the bar of the same name - and everything you need to wind down an eventful day there. Spirits from all over the world - from aperol to grappa and vodka - that need only be mixed with a few more select ingredients to concoct some fantastic cocktails and long drinks. Care for a caipirinha, dry martini or Aperol spritz? Make a wish to our bartenders and they'll make it come true. We also have the right bottles on hand for wine connoisseurs. Moreover you can enjoy spectacular live shows on selected evenings. Please consider that the Bar "Colosseo" is a non-smoking area. It is allowed to smoke in the room "Scuderia" as well as on the Terrace.
In my opinion this bar is the best bar in Europa Park. There is a very wide variety of different cocktails and beers. The bar staff are incredible friendly.

ROLL UP, ROLL UP FOR A COCKTAIL IN THE WORLD OF THE CIRCUS! The décor at this bar evokes the lively colourful world of the circus, hence the name "El Circo". Lots of small coloured lights, wooden clowns and artistes, gold stars on the circus canopy and pictures of the illustrious Swiss clown cum artist Rolf Knie will transport you straightaway to the enchanting world of circus arts and magic. Everything sparkles, glitters and enthralls. If you want some fresh air after the heady atmosphere of the circus, take a seat on the patio in the inner courtyard. On balmy summer nights, magic reigns here too, with palm trees rustling in the wind, Fountains softly burbling, and the arcades of "El Andaluz" lit up as you enjoy our award-winning cocktails. We look forward to your visit!
After. Busy day in the park, this bar is a great place to chill and wind down with a lovely drink. They do everything and the cocktails are great! The bar staff are very friendly and polite.

MAKE FRIENDS – IN ITALIAN "Commedia dell’Arte" is a form of Italian popular comedy and comedies are generally lively, funny and feisty. As is the atmosphere at our Europa-Park cafe! Situated right by the Fountain on the lively Piazza, it’s the gregarious site to see and be seen, rather like the Piazza Navona in Rome or St. Mark’s Square in Venice. This is a casual place to hook up and hang out with friends for an espresso, latte macchiato, cornetto or gelato. Cafe culture alla italiana rules inside as well, which is appointed with small round tables, leather-upholstered chairs and an authentic coffee bar. The "Commedia dell’Arte" is a cosy non-smoking cafe, so it’s a good spot for the whole family.
I enjoyed my visit to this bar. There is a wonderful range of German beers and cocktails on offer. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Well organized by Alexander Koch we were shipped with his boat for almost 2 hours through the beautiful nature parc called Taubergiessen!
With his impressing knowledge about flora & fauna, we enjoyed a lot this calm and relaxed boat trip! Without engine or kite!
Also, many information about history of fishing in the German-French boarder area. We learned much about this region!
A perfect afternoon for the whole family with grandparents and little kids!
Kids were allowed to use the paddle as well, were great idea!
Many thanks to Alexander Koch to make this family weekend a perfect one!!
