If you (and your children and wife) like to walk betwenn animals, this is your place. Birds, tigers, leons, etc. You can visit a building with a tropical weather (controlled heat and humidity) where you can find snakes, and different flying free trought it. Amazing

There is something quite fascinating about nothingness. This is quite close to it and a perfect place to relax with absolutely no noise whatsoever. Very little life around (that you can see with the naked eye at least). Only accessible by car/taxi so time it well if you do not want a large bill...

The place offers many trails to go for a quiet hike, run or bicycle ride. The scenery is as best as you can get in this area of the country. It's also not far from General Roca, just a 10KM drive.

There are not many things to go and see outside Roca but this is an excellent pick. You will learn loads about the process of wine making and end up the visit with some tasting and the opportunity to buy some too.

This small (Italian roots) family-run bodega specialises in methode traditionelle sparking wine (aka champagne) using just pinot noir and chardonnay from their own small estate. All of the riddling and disgorging is done by hand and our "tasting" was a complementary bottle of the same which we witnessed being frozen, disgorged and poured by Marcelo himself in front of our eyes. What style and what good wine it was too.

This place it great to go if your in the mood for people. Fun to find by local bus! Otherwise there are more secluded places along the Rio Negro to enjoy. But grab your 'mate' and head on down!
