Ate here lunch buffet. For 12e you get a small salad bar, 2 warm mains and pancakes as dessert. Homefood style and not very trendy. Service was nice though. Housing in a tired shopping center not very inviting.

The hall has 205 seats and there is a possibility to combine Ruukki cabinet of 50 seats . The building is protected from the outside as well as inside the portico , and in respect of funkiskaaren - solid walls shall not be constructed . Fortunately ! Our strength and sisutuksellinen haastemme are 4,25m height of the room . The complex has attracted a lot of interest and we have been praised for their successful sisustussuunnittelustamme . I visited Kaks Ruusua to participate a private birthday party. This restaurant was originally an old paper mill workers lunch place/canteen. The building has been originally constructed in 1913. The restaurant is one big nicely decorated hall which has seats for more than hundred quests. The dinner served in the party was fine and the prices of drinks in the bar were reasonable. The place seems serve also lunch for visitors and special ordered menus for parties (like our birthday party)

Our cosy restaurant offers good food and drink. The kitchen crew has planned à la carte menu where you can find classic flavours, flavours from the land and the sea and of course the sturgeon of Varkaus. We have portions for both small and big hunger, something for everyone. And lets not forget the children either. In addition our generous list of beverages complements any dining experience. Have a proper burger or romantic dinner. You can enjoy your stay at restaurant Oscar in a small or bigger group. We offer every season different theme lists e.g. blinis, summer and game lists. Only imagination restricts the use of our atmospheric restaurant.

We had a light business meal here. Despite the fact that the restaurant was not offering a smörgåsbord or normal lunch they prepared us very tasty salad lunch. Quality good and ingredients tasty. So based on this experience can be recommended. Meeting room was also ok.

Whilst nothing outstanding to rave about, the food and service my group of four enjoyed on a Sunday whilst most other places were closed, was very acceptable and very reasonably priced.
The choice of dishes was excellent, allowing for most tastes and dietary requirements, promptly delivered and a pre-mains salad-bar was exceptional.
We enjoyed ourselves and can recommend it.

Very nice location at lake side view to factory pipes, the heart of Varkaus. Funny detail when ordering meals with 'toy animals'
I ate bacon-reindeer salad garnished with blue cheese . It was enough big portion for main meal and really delicious. Also other members in our company praised their hamburgers and salads. Beer from small brewery from Kuopio was really taste, much better than 'normal' wheat beers.

Delaware hamburger was good, also reindeerbacon salad. But just good, nothing special. Last summer list was much better. Morton is a great concept. The interior is something special. But please, get last summers pork on the list again. Then I"ll be back, otherwise not.

Ensin luulet meneväsi Irlantilaiseen pubiin koska paikan nimi on O'Harry's. Sisään astuessasi näet upean sisustuksen joka on sekoitus Suomen lappia ja sitä Irkkumeininkiä. Sisustuksessa käytetty upeasti puuta, vanhoja työkoneita ja löytyy sieltä jopa mukavia keinujakin joissa istuskella. Ihana miljöö josta saa juomien lisäksi pientä purtavaakin.
