Part of the El Sitio hotel, a very nice place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner overlooking the beach and the amazing waves that bring lots of surfers to Playa Venao. Good menu but could use a little more variety. Still, excellent fresh fish, ceviche, burgers, shrimp for lunch and dinner, but breakfast is not to be missed. The Healthy breakfast features a vegetarian omelet, fresh yogurt with granola, fresh fruit, homemade breads, juice, coffee, and hey, if you want bacon or ham, its great. Each cup of coffee or a latte is made individually, some of the best coffee anywhere. And alongside the restaurant is an excellent bar, with two young Venezuelan bartenders that mix great cocktails (mojitos amazing) and add to the fun atmosphere (DJ music most night).

I liked the friendly atmosphere and quick service. I've had lunch, brunch or coffee there several times. Good veggie burger with side salad and excellent garlicky hummus . Generous portions. Easy for a solo traveler.

Friendly service, decent prices $11 for a pizza you can share. Nice open air dining, music, and view of the ocean from the patio.

Open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, espresso, drinks or homemade desserts, el Panamá restaurant has a casual, welcoming atmosphere and offers generous portions from a varied menu. There are locally sourced ingredients like passion fruit, pumpkin or freshly caught seafood, and a real deal ($5) for the daily lunch special: soup, salad , rice and beans & a meat dish. The open air patio is a good location for watching birds, iguanas or the howler monkeys on their daily migration up and down the hills overlooking Playa Venao. Good options for vegetarians include dinner size chick pea salad , black bean burger platter, soups (or lunch deal sans meat). A great place across the road from the beachfront, clean and friendly.

I was hungry for something different and found a very nice selection here. For a reasonable price too. Another fellow just leaving recommended the Pad Thai, and that sounded great to me. A very tasty dish, good portion, $9.50. I would return here.

Panga is a farm to table restaurant. We try to only use products from the Region of Azuero and respect the products. We believe in good honest food and we want to grow while helping the local small producers grow with us.

Went for breakfast. Ordered the $4 combo - eggs, tortilla, cheese, chorizo. Sounds good, eh? BUT I was quite surprised when it arrived... The tortilla was actually 2 pieces of fry-bread. The "chorizo" was indistinguishable from a hot-dog. And the cheese? Well, on top of everything lay a single thin slice of those american cheese food slices, still in it's little cellophane packaging! The eggs were the only item as expected. I gave them a good rating anyway though. Because it was still all tasty, a super good value and it filled me up quite nicely.

Venao Coffee Roasters is a Specialty Coffee Shop & Roastery based in the lovely Playa Veano. We only use Direct-Trade Panamanian Specialty Coffee from Boquete and Volcán. On the other hand we try to only use Panamanian products or from the area of Azuero if possible in order to support our local producers. We believe in quality, transparency and sustainability.
