I'm a local and have been practicing yoga with Essence of Living for almost two years now. They offer a great array of yoga and pilates classes throughout each day for every level and the teachers are just wonderful. Essence of Living have a great reputation on the Gold Coast.

Snooker World is the largest Pool Hall in Queensland housing 15 8 Ball tables, 2 full size Snooker tables, 4 American Vegas tables and 1 9 ball table. We are fully licenced and open 7 days a week. The ATMOSPHERE is electric with music of all types pumping! The tables are maintained to Australian Title standards with a majority of the major league competitions being played out of this venue.

Went there as a chance outing and had the BEST time! The vibe there was fantastic, the music was awesome and the staff were soooo friendly! Would highly recommend anyone to go down and have some fun.

Boardculture has a fantastic range of street wear and an even larger selection of boards. Travis has a wealth of knowledge and can hand pick the best board for you as well as offer you a great price. Boardculture also has 3 fine baristas working throughout the day that serve a delicious coffee for a reasonable price. The staff are also incredibly helpful and friendly

We had a great time on the tour with Tim, he took us around the hinterland and showed us Kangaroos and was very knowledgable about the area! The waterfall was awesome and of course visiting Byron Bay is also amazing!!

This is the small park from which you can access Mermaid Beach. It has a few facilities including beach showers, a small picnic shelter and BBQs, exercise bars, a few benches and some shady trees. Unfortunately though no toilets or changing rooms. What makes it a little unusual is that it has a beach volleyball court set up and ready to go and what makes it just about unique is that it features a statue in bronze of a mermaid. So, no need to go all the way to Copenhagen if you want to see a statue of a genuine mermaid and definitely no need to jostle with the hordes to get a picture of this one.
