We have superb state-of-the-art health, fitness, sports and leisure activities catering for people of all ages and abilities, and what's more they are at an affordable price! There's our magnificent 50 metre swimming pool and exciting splash flume, a 100 station fitness suite offering a mix of the latest cardiovascular, resistance and free weights equipment, a luxurious rejuvenating spa, a spacious sports hall equipped to accommodate many sports including badminton, tennis, basketball and football. What's more, the centre also boasts a soft play kingdom, children's circuit gym, unique interactive fitness suite, and lots, lots more! Friendly, fully trained staff are available to meet your individual needs from organised activities, to personal training or simply to offer help and guidance around your new centre.
This leisure centre has experienced big improvements over the past few years and the initial clinical and unfriendly feel after the renovations has now given way to a more welcoming atmosphere. It still needs users to point out failings to ensure standards are maintained. Unhealthy food choices in the cafeteria do not sit well in a centre promoting health.

While on holidays from Australia we stayed a couple of nights at Magherafelt. While there we went to Brysons Bar, what a great place to have a pint and a meal. The staff and food was second to none, staff members could not do enough for us, while the food was extremely tasty, hot when it got to the table and the seevice was very quick. I would highly recommend Brysons bar to all locals and travelers. A very special hello to Teresa and all the staff.

What a unique and wonderful day we had tracing the footsteps of Seamus Heaney! Fergal planned a visit to a wide range of different sites in Bellaghy, offered the history and significance of each in Heaney's early years, and recited various Heaney poems that referenced each site. Not only was Fergal very knowledgeable, he also personalized the day for us based on our questions. After the tour finished, Fergal even emailed us a photo that related to one of our questions about the area. This tour was a highlight of our holiday! I highly recommend InSite Tours of Ireland! You won't be disappointed!

Spent a lot of time growing up around this golf course. Worked in it for several years. It's a challenging par 3 throughout so it's good for families to play or if someone wants to improve their game. A unique course to any other I have played. To anyone visiting Magherafelt on a holiday this is a must

Not much changed yet despite the completion of a curvy stretch of tarmac bypassing this sleepy sleeper town. Though relatively small Meadowlane has not suffered the same fate as other malls where we see a plethora of empty units. Still thriving thanks to the loyalty of the local population it remains an important part of the Magherafelt landscape.
