The view from the observation tower is awesome, go there. You can park the car right next to it and then there's only the stairs to climb....and a view to enjoy. ;)

It may not be overly magnificent, but it still is worth your while. Also it has a little park in which you can sit down and relax..

Madona museum is in the same building as the Madonas tourist information center, the staff was helpful and we got answers to our questions about sightseeing. We visited the archeology exhibition in the museum, the names of the items were translated into english. The collection was quite intresting and it was worth the visit

This manor is just by the side of road, thus it is easily accessible. It also features an arbor which seems to be half-sunken into the ground.

This attraction is suitable for persons who are interested in local ceramics. The artist - Janis Seiksts has been involved with ceramics for 45 years, he makes ceramics using Latvian traditional technologies and methods, all of his ceramics are burnt in a kiln, heated by firewood. You can also walk in Janis Seiksts garden and see his ceramic garden sculptures. Janis Seiksts himself only speaks latvian and russian languages, so it is good if you have a translator.Since I am interested in ceramics and make ceramics myself i had great time, regardless my bad russian language skills. You can also by Janis Seiksts ceramics.

There is rumors that this manor soon will be renovated, which is a great news - obviously it needs that. And also - the latvian movie "Pelnu sanatorija" is filmed in this manor!
