Nowadays, gastronomy has become an important part of lifestyle, the restaurant's offer is based on meals prepared using local groceries: the fish and seafood caught in the local sea and vegetables cultivated on the island. In that way business on the island becomes an advantage instead of being a disadvantage.
I recommend Joseph! I came here by boat with my husband plus family, we ordered octopus salad, grilled scampi, swuid, octopus and lobster spaguetti. Everythting was fresh and yummy. Specially the lobster spaguetti!
One downside, we needed a minimum 34ampers to power our yacht, and they only have 16ampers. Which seems to be the case in entire island.

Excellent service! The oysters were amazing and our mains were very tasty as well. The views of Trstenik were beautiful! The price point was spot on. This was a flawless restaurant experience from start to finish. High recommend going and visiting Trstenik!

We ate lunch yesterday sardines for me and octopus salad for my partner. This evening I had sea bass and my partner a big greek salad. Both most enjoyable at reasonable price. I object to paying extra for fried vegies over the std boiled offering with seafood. So Ogigija was a good exception. House white was very good.

This simple restaurant is located on the water edge in the middle of Mljet national park. The place is simple, but the location is wonderful and the food, cooked by the owner is first class. The fish is fresh and cooked to perfection.
For sailors it has the additional advantage that there are free buoys and a small pier.
Very friendly people and, as I said, first class seafood!

We were met by the owner Polo who explained the menu to us and was very friendly and inviting. The waiter was excellent, friendly and attentive and happy to make recommendations and explain the food on offer.
We are here twice, having wild boar one night and the baby goat under the bell the other. Both meals were good but the boat was a big winner with both of us, lots of meat and flavour. Would definitely use again and recommend to anyone visiting Polace.

Having visited Trstenik some years ago we did not expect to find a newly opened, excellent restaurants overlooking the beach. we had the Dalmation plate to share which was more than enough for lunch for two. Served with lovely bread and an exceptional glass of local white wine. We were the only people in that day which was a pity. It had only been ope a few weeks but i am sure when other discover it this will be very popular. We even had a brief cookery lesson from the chef on the way out. d\o visit this place deserves to succeed.
