Me wife and 2 our kids arrived about 1700hrs and it was only our family in this restaurant. I need to say that staff inside are outstandingly friendly ans we really feel like home. Our kids been around place until food was prepared and it is good ro have quite chat with wife.
Waiter was great and friendly kind of person. We order for starter beef soup that really nice and for me I ordered cream soup with cottage cheese strudel that waiter recommended. This soup for me was really great. After that we had kids menu for kids and for me and wide we order Turkey fillet stuffed with cream cheese and nettles and homemade croquettes This was good but without sauce was dry for my opinion. Some sauce will improve this meal.
My wife she ordered duck chest in blackberry wine sauce and home made pasta. This meal was huge and sauce was ok but not great as we expected due to reason the wine was not boiled to the end.
On the end I need to say that we try home made pumpkin oil and this is best pumpkin oil you can get on planet Earth. It is replaced olive oil that they not serve but this pumpkin oil is as I write above is great.
Due to some improvements that can be done on food My score for this place is 4.

To understand Presa is to understand a little more of the Zagorje region above Zagreb in Croatia. People are friendly, enjoy witticisms and are welcoming to guests at their establishment.
We visited in mid-Winter for lunch, not the high tourist season, so yes there was a relatively empty restaurant however this did not detract from the level and quantity of food as well as the great service of the staff.
In the Spring and Summer this must be a wonderful place to sit outside and enjoy the view from.
Presa is generous with portions, especially the soup as an appetizer, nothing fancy but something which you shouldnt miss. We followed with Zagrebacki Odrezak and the classic cevapi, and we were not disappointed!
Sides of shopska salata, sveza salata, przeni krompir rounded off a very nice meal.
This is not a Michelin star restaurant so please dont expect it to be. What Zagorje does well is serve traditional "country" style, homemade food with the pride and Presa delivers this in spades.

The restaurant is a part of the hotel with the same name. Everything is new, modern, clean, absolutely no objections on that part. We were there for Sunday lunch and there were almost no people in the restaurant. We were told over the phone earlier that Reservations were not necessary and... they really weren't.
We had some soup for the start, that was OK. Then I ordered a beef steak, 200 g that was on the menu but I got two pieces of 100 g. Every steak lover will tell you that this couldn't be the same! Instead of one juicy large steak I got two small dried pieces. And they were served only with some leafy salad, very unimaginative. I was not very pleased with my steak. On the other hand, however, my girlfriend had some duck breast and she was perfectly happy with her dish. The wine list is not very long but there are choices. Only Croatian wines, however, but not that this is a bad thing. And if you do go to this restaurant, order "Art Chocolate" for dessert, very nice chocolate "performance" for the end. To conclude, this is a quite good restaurant, but still a bit far from perfection.

This is a rural wine restaurant serving local specialties. They serve their own wine and own food. Beautiful views over wineyards. Great local dishes. Prepare for lots of pork meat and pork fat and local struklji. Very good sparkling wine. Whenever I will have foreigners on a visit I will bring them here. A true experience.

I really enjoyed this place. The pizza was excellent and came out very quickly. The beer was cold and the prices were reasonable. The service was very good too, though we don't speak much Croatian and the servers don't speak much English, we managed to make it work just fine. Would recommend.

Near the Krapina Neanderthal Museum, a pleasant place in the nature with authentically Zagorje cuisine, where you can taste homemade pasta, gnocchi and many other domestic dishes. Have you ever heard of Štrukli or Gibanica from Zagorje?
I was here with a group, we ordered a menu in advance, it sounded good but when we arrived it was uneatabe, small piece of chicken breasts and a bowl of overcooked rice, totally disgusting, avoid this place !!
