When we arrived here for lunch, there were 2 other occupied tables. Asked the lady for the menu but there wasn't any. We saw many pictures of various types of river fishes on the wall. So we asked the lady to recommend their house specials. And, we had sweet sour pork, steamed patin, fried paku leaves with egg and anchovies and village chicken in ginger & wine.
All the food were really delicious! The fish, paku leaves and chicken in ginger & wine were really special. Fish was really fresh too. She told us the fish was freshly caught from the nearby river.
The only thing we didn't like were the flies. There were loads of them hovering at our food. So, one of our hand was used fanning the flies away while we ate with the other hand. Other diners seemed unperturbed though....

Nice local floating restaurant with typical Malay and Indian food. The chef is a nice Indian guy who likes to chat and recommends you his best meals.
Try the indian food!Very delicious !The staff is very nice and welcoming. They organized a taxi boat for us for going to the Lata Berkoh Waterfalls.

Steve and his wife run this very clean cafe/restaurant like a well-oiled machine. The food is cooked in front of you, is excellent, and prices are inexpensive for meals (MYR3-12) and drinks (MRY1.50 upwards).
This is the only restaurant in Jerantut that makes Bak Tut Teah: meaty pork ribs, typically, simmered in a broth of herbs and spices (star anise, cinnamon, cloves, dang gui, fennel seeds, and garlic) for hours. This dish is served with steamed rice and strips of fried dough (for dipping in the soup). Mix some fresh crushed garlic, fresh chillies, and 2 different soya sauces into the soup for added depth and spice.
Also, a must try at the Blue Sky is the delicious fresh hand-made Mee (noodles), which Steve or his wife make whilst you watch. The best Mee in soup I've tried in Malaysia yet!
The service and hospitality shown was exceptional! We ate here both nights of our Jerantut stay. Steve also insisted we have some of his local Kelap, and mixed-bean dessert so that we tried different Malaysian delicacies.

Definitely was not expecting such a McD in Jerantut, but am happy to find it. The staff was friendly and the outlet kept very clean. The food is the usual McD.
