Booked the package for the Isle of Pines trip that included the ferry boat return ticket and the buffet at the Kou-Bugny restaurant.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the buffet was more focused on sea food dishes. Was disappointed and expected more variety so I had more desserts then lunch, therefore quite regretted later on taking the buffet lunch and should have gone à la carte instead. Nevertheless, the restaurant offers a magnificent view over Kuto Bay which is perfect for a laid back lunch. The restaurant is also opened for non-hotel guests as well.

Our restaurant the "Kunie Kaa" ...is open every day from 6.40am for the breakfast.Continental breakfast buffet consisting of:Hot drinks (coffee, tea, capuccino ...), fruit juices, fresh milk, cereales, baguettes, slided bread, biscotte (rusk bread), house cake, butter, jams, fruit compote and seasonal tropical fruit (mango, passion fruit...).from 11.40am to 1.40pm for lunchOur suggestions change everyday depending on what local producers have to offer.
The place is clean and staff professional. Beautiful Kanumera bay is just step away so if you don't want to shed 300euros/night, it's definitely the place you should chose. Family bungalow, camping... the restaurant is very good and affordable comparing to the others on the island.

Looking at other reviews we must have struck it lucky with the service as what we received was awesome. The food was perfectly cooked - in particular the duck. The bougna was lovely although could have done with more prawns or possibly added crayfish. You must also try the local snails which are to die for. The best snails we've ever had anywhere.
The meals are deceptively filling so unfortunately I did not get to try the trio of creme brulee.
The restaurant is in a beautiful setting. The food may seem pricey but it is well worth it.
