What a great discovery this restaurant was! It is the only restaurant in the small island of Sverinac. The owner looks like Santa Claus - very warm and constantly smiling. The food is absolutely fantastic - you really need to try the lobsters served with pasta and a unique red sauce. They also served us clams as appetizers - I forgot their exact name - but they're very rare to find as they're inside rocks, so to get them they cut the rocks and extract the clams. Upon inquiring about these clams, it appears that they should be around 300 years old to be in the size they were! They serve them marinated in parsley, garlic and white wine, a real delicacy. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough - it is a must try if you're around Zverinac.

Terrible experience!!! Although the food was OK, the service and everything else was beyond good taste. The waitress was acting as she was there by punishment, rolling her eyes at everything we asked for, which was not much (e.g. olive oil, tap water etc). They served us plain white bread, while I think it wouldn't be such a problem to bake your own bread and serve it with fresh olive oil for which the island is known for. But the only thing the owners know how to do is to overprice everything, rip off their guests and give their best that none of them come back ever again. I am ashamed to be Croatian when I see how we treat our guests and expect them to return??? So, my advice is DO NOT visit this restaurant as you will only be disappointed and poor afterwards (cca 200kn per person with 1 drink!!)

The scene is great, the place just miss Tito picture so much you feel place was existing few decades ago. Food and service are good, especially seafood such as black risotto, scampi and skid. If place permit you can enjoy eating on quay edges with candles....

We had a family dinner here. Firet We ordered soups...made from instant powder.my parents ordered meat plate for 2persons nothing extra ordinary. My girlfriend pasta was like ketchup with reheated overcooked pasta.my chevaps was like mirelit. The only ok things were the drinks. The waiter was like a neautral cyborg. So bad...not recommended

We were the only tourists in Verunic during this October and the owner was absolutely lovely to us. When we told him we wanted to experience Peka while in Croatia he told us he could make a lamb peka one day of our trip and we could even help him make it. It turned out beautifully and he made a lovely salad and olives as well as some delicious dessert to round out the meal. We had a wonderful meal and made great memories. We went back twice in our 3 days on the island and ate well both times. I would definitely recommend.
